Oh that jug of Castrol GTX yeah I’m not sure although I do work on electric forklifts and electric vehicles still require oil in the differentials and steering units , and some in the transmissions as well. I assume the Tesla drive unit probably utilizes a transaxle so it probably does take oil 😎👍🏽 And it probably has to be changed every so often, although without the carbon emissions and no EGR I assume the oil would last a lot longer than 5000 miles with no carbon contamination
