I had been doing yoga since 1999, and finally gave it up last year-got saved. I switched yoga for figure skating and never looked back. I do very bland Pilates stretches in lieu of the evil yoga asanas. I went through yoga teacher training in 2012, and all of the students were lost unhappy souls. I quit teaching in 2021 and my anger is gone. Yoga made me very angry 😡
Interesting. I went through an awful experience with a manipulative emotionally abusive relationship in 2017. I was distraught. I started doing vigorous yoga classes and vinyassana at a cr near home. I found it really helpful in my state of grief and trauma. Later I stopped going g to the studio for different reasons.Iv been since trying to discern. I do believe it helped me at that time but I 2as also steeped in prayer and the sacraments.
I was involved in Yoga and new age/occult practices for 20 years, it totally messed me up. I have found Christ in the last year and my life is gradually getting better. Alot of my network was based around yoga and new age, and i have had to end those relationships, which has been difficult, but iam developing relationships with people at my church and I feel so much love and forgiveness in these new relationships which I never felt before. Even as a strong believer, I knew nothing about yoga. After I'd take a class I'd feel exhilarated & calm. In a few weeks though, I was utterly paralyzed with deep depression and anxiery so intense..I couldn't leave my home. God is so faithful and showed me that it was yoga. Once I repented & also got rid of hindu music and hard rock, the torment left! That was 6 years ago. Freedom!

I practiced Bikram yoga from 2009-2023. I never experienced anything supernatural that I can recall. I did feel it was no longer for me and couldn't explain that feeling of resistance towards it (it wasn't that I was bored of it, I just kept finding myself resisting it and other forms of yoga). I felt that when I practiced yoga, I worked off an 800 lbs gorilla off my chest, and the next morning, it would be back on me, and the cycle would repeat. Months later, I returned to Christ, renounced all things New Age, learned about the spiritual dangers of yoga, and was delivered. I believe her testimony and am glad she's free.
ever since i stopped practicing yoga and meditation two months ago, my anxiety and negative thinking is healed. I don't "get sad" anymore and I'm actually more energetic and calmer. I'm a Muslim btw, Yoga is forbidden for Muslims as well

You're 100%correct!! a couple of years back, before i started working for myself, my former boss organized a ladies night and invited a Monk who was sharing about Hare Krishna, I already had a relationship with The Lord, but was still a baby Christian, i remember us singing and clapping to Hare Krishna "Hare Hare Hare, everything went well, the following day after praying and as soon as i opened the bible, popped Exodus 20:5 to 6...at first i didnt pay any notice, and suddenly the verse popped everywhere,,literally, id be reading a Christian book and id see it, it was as if somebody was saying pay attention to this verse....a week later i eventually mustered the Courage and simply "Father , i keep on seeing this verse and it feels like you're talking to me, but im confused because, i dont serve any other God, Im confused, please clarify"..., thereafter i started making my bed, i remember i was tucking in my sheet and suddenly i saw a Vision of a big screen TV, and there was me singing and clapping for Hare Krishna😥😥...,and suddenly there Was a voice that said "Cancel every word, you uttered to Hare Krishna, I sobbed and asked for forgiveness and told Him i had no idea and that i was very very sorry....!!! Thank you for sharing your encounters and lovely testimony. I used to practice yoga also and didn't think anything of it. Years ago I had sleep paralysis and demons were in my room holding me down to my bed, I couldn't scream or move but knew I was awake. Finally in a moment of divine intervention I bolted up right up and ordered them to get the "blank" out of my house! I wasn't yet saved but they immediately left and I was shaken. It was years later before I was saved but now I look back on so many parts of my life and can see where I was leaving doors open for the tormentors to seep in. Thank you for sharing your tesimony. After doing only a few sessions of yoga many years ago, I saw a demon in my bedroom as well! Already my husband was having constant sleep paralysis where he saw different entities standing over him in his dreams, and we were seeing shadows around our apartment. But when I did the yoga, that's when it got more intense. Thank the Lord for saving us!

The necklace part is interesting. My necklace incident was a little different and I never talk about it bc it's such a "small" sign. But when I was born again after years of new age as a massage therapist (talk about ppls dark spirits following u home!)- I found one tiny cross randomly in my . The necklace was too long, for me. I had those tiny clear hair ties, and I looped it around the back park to make chain smaller, but one of the last ones broke. In the a.m. I opened my drawer and there were like 35/40 tiny hair rubber bands. I thought of the loaves and fishes account in the Bible. & The saying, " God cares about EVERY little thing that you care about, & more." Even the TINY things. I kept them in the drawer and didn't use most of them.
I’ve often wondered about the use of yoga moves, even with an intention only to stretch and exercise. I know that the Lord speaks to us about different activities in our lives, and we may not all get the same insruction, but, I have heard many many stories similar to this, and I think it makes sense to consider. There are many ways that we can stretch and move our bodies that don’t have to be a particular sequence of poses that have an association with and probably an attraction to demons.

Possession can be very subtle. It not all levitation and climbing the walls. From my personal experience of living in a yoga spiritual new age conscious BS community with people from all over the world, is that most of them are lost, searching-and seeking for meaning, connection as well as to be part of something, and a second lease of life on their neglected middle aged body. The saddest part is that even with all the searching and the healing process, which becomes an obsessive full time job, is that they are still sad and empty inside. I wish most who go testimonies would really go in to detail about the supernatural experiences because a lot of people have snd are going through similar experiences and it helps us to feel like we’re not alone and crazy. Because the spiritual realm can we quite strange from everyday experiences….normal experiences. It’s hard sometimes. You aren't crazy ... that's exactly how I came to understand that evil and good is literally Satan and Jesus (God) and we have a side to choose I have seen demons also and they used to scare me. I was getting into new age stuff without understanding what it really was. God pulled me out of that real quick before it escalated and I wasn't even a believer at all.. he spared me for some reason. My life was very dark before.
Amen amen amen🙏 I have a unique testimony… was I was young I opened the door to the devil… playing the ouiji board game… at around the age 8 or so… I then started seeing spirits in my home black and white figures… I heard demons speaking to me… I was so scared that game followed me wherever I went a few years down the rd… I was at my friends house they had that game there demons went in them… this was almost 30 years ago… that’s a whole other testimony… I’ll give a few things am that happened but it sounds better explained in person… so I noticed they were acting weird growling etc… choking the other girls at the slumber slumber party…I found Bible started reading it.. the 2 friends the demons were in fell on the floor at the exact same time and started shaking growling speaking in a weird language and laughing while they were shaking… all of a sudden, they both stopped, shaking and set up, ran to the garbage and was throwing up. Mind you I didn’t know then what I know now I was delivering them casting out demons. I didn’t even know that was in the Bible until some years ago. There was another experience with that game. I went over my friends from work. I was around 18 I went in there I seen them playing it. I said you guys don’t wanna mess with that it’s real. They said you are right on the so-called game it said we don’t like her. They said you don’t like her it said the girl in the red was wearing red. They looked at me and said who JAMIE said yes JAMIE she knows too much. i then left 😮 there are so many other stories. I can’t even fit on this message, but I was making some videos about it deleted it, but I need to remake them from opening the door to the devil I develop severe anxiety I lost my voice on and off for 15 years I had many and did things 2. cope with fear rejection because my father didn’t want me my mother didn’t even want me in the beginning anyway so I became to start seeking Jesus I found him I heard him speak to me. I know what’s going on. I know that there’s a spiritual battle I know there’s demons and people they oppress people. Things before they happen. I used to be really good at that but I told God that I didn’t want anything unless it was from him. I have a very unique gift just like the rest of the chosen ones…. I have been self delivering myself for about three years now I got my voice completely back my whole mind and everything is renewed. I’m not even the same person I’ve changed so much. I do realize that I am a new creation and I see through the eyes of Christ. I look at people like we are all children of God and everybody that I see either has the Holy Spirit or is being spiritually attacked. You can see it right in their eyes. It is about the content. We live in a world that feeds constant entertainment. It is way better without background music. The focus is on the content. It strengthens what is spoken , when there isn’t competing sound. Her testimony is strong and should be respected as so.
As much as many people want to be naive and say that yoga is a physical practice of stretching, the fact is that the specific physical postures are in worship of the many deities / demons in Hindusim, hence inviting them into their being. From my experience in new age communities and all that goes with it for many years, those that live and practice this lifestyle are at their core still searching as it does not fill them with the Holy Spirit. This is only possible through the only way to the Father, God. This is through Jesus Christ. I challenge anyone to invite the trinity of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into their life for one month and tell me that you are not changed beyond recognition for the good.
People pursue yoga primarily to be fit and maintain their bodies whilst being part of a click, though yoga is primarily a hindu religious practice, with the physical asanas just one of the 7 limbs of yoga. Acceptance of everything and anything, being so wonderfully inclusive is the biggest problem in the world now, leading to an erosion of long held values which hold a society together. Would you say this is true of all types of yoga, including yin? I like how those long stretches feel on my body, and can't find any wother type of workout that has the same effect. Plus I read that yin yoga was developped in the 90s, which makes me wonder just how much of yoga is in it. But maybe I'm just fooling myself.
@@TheSaltPsalm37 there is no flow in yin yoga, it's just long static strerches. But I think you're right. There really isn't much reason why I should do yoga instead of regular stretching.
I myself am skeptical. Consider that millions of people do yoga around the world, and don't report supernatural or demonic encounters. It could be the lady herself and not the activity she does that is susceptible to such experiences.
I understand your point. I myself was into yoga and new age spirituality for 7 years. I used to think that yoga was actually helping me, every time I practiced yoga I‘d feel better afterwards. I did not have any demonic encounters but ever since Jesus has found me and saved me 5 months ago my life has changed drastically. Looking back, I can see now that all of these practices were actually causing my depression and emotional torment instead of helping them. Ever since Jesus, I’ve been completely depression free which is a miracle to me! 🙏🏻 It’s all thanks to him. So maybe not everyone sees demons but I am convinced that yoga does open demonic doors that will slowly but surely lead you into darkness and also get you hooked on all of these spiritual practices. So this is my testimony. Feel free to ask me anything. I am beyond grateful for Jesus. He opened my eyes and got me out of the darkness I was in and I didn’t even know it until I was fully out of it. If a person isn’t a Christian it’s different. Not better b/c it’s not of God, but still different. Also many people are kind of “numbed” to the demonic, seeing things as “life” instead of a curse or demonic strongholds.

When I was Christian, I was very depressed and lonely. And something felt off about it too. I didn't find that same peace and love that you spoke of until after I left. Today I wouldn't call myself a spiritualist, but I do believe in God. Just not the Christian version of him. I don't due yoga, but my wife use to and some of my friends still do and they look happy and healthy. It's strange that some people see evil in what others experience enlightenment, balance and health. The human heart is a mercurial thing.

I practiced Bikram yoga from 2009-2023. I never experienced anything supernatural that I can recall. I did feel it was no longer for me and couldn't explain that feeling of resistance towards it (it wasn't that I was bored of it, I just kept finding myself resisting it and other forms of yoga). I felt that when I practiced yoga, I worked off an 800 lbs gorilla off my chest, and the next morning, it would be back on me, and the cycle would repeat. Months later, I returned to Christ, renounced all things New Age, learned about the spiritual dangers of yoga, and was delivered. I believe her testimony and am glad she's free.

You're 100%correct!! a couple of years back, before i started working for myself, my former boss organized a ladies night and invited a Monk who was sharing about Hare Krishna, I already had a relationship with The Lord, but was still a baby Christian, i remember us singing and clapping to Hare Krishna "Hare Hare Hare, everything went well, the following day after praying and as soon as i opened the bible, popped Exodus 20:5 to 6...at first i didnt pay any notice, and suddenly the verse popped everywhere,,literally, id be reading a Christian book and id see it, it was as if somebody was saying pay attention to this verse....a week later i eventually mustered the Courage and simply "Father , i keep on seeing this verse and it feels like you're talking to me, but im confused because, i dont serve any other God, Im confused, please clarify"..., thereafter i started making my bed, i remember i was tucking in my sheet and suddenly i saw a Vision of a big screen TV, and there was me singing and clapping for Hare Krishna😥😥...,and suddenly there Was a voice that said "Cancel every word, you uttered to Hare Krishna, I sobbed and asked for forgiveness and told Him i had no idea and that i was very very sorry....!!! And you are so right that God has his angels here that come around our way here and there for just these tiny little moments in time. Thank you for sharing your encounters and lovely testimony. I used to practice yoga also and didn't think anything of it. Years ago I had sleep paralysis and demons were in my room holding me down to my bed, I couldn't scream or move but knew I was awake. Finally in a moment of divine intervention I bolted up right up and ordered them to get the "blank" out of my house! I wasn't yet saved but they immediately left and I was shaken. It was years later before I was saved but now I look back on so many parts of my life and can see where I was leaving doors open for the tormentors to seep in. Praise Jesus for saving me and all of us! Hallelujah

Already my husband was having constant sleep paralysis where he saw different entities standing over him in his dreams, and we were seeing shadows around our apartment. But when I did the yoga, that's when it got more intense. Thank the Lord for saving us!

I believe you, I had very similar experiences to yours. I wish many christians were aware of this, most of them have no clue about the spiritual world.
The necklace part is interesting. My necklace incident was a little different and I never talk about it bc it's such a "small" sign. But when I was born again after years of new age as a massage therapist (talk about ppls dark spirits following u home!)- I found one tiny cross randomly in my . The necklace was too long, for me. I had those tiny clear hair ties, and I looped it around the back park to make chain smaller, but one of the last ones broke. In the a.m. I opened my drawer and there were like 35/40 tiny hair rubber bands. I thought of the loaves and fishes account in the Bible. & The saying, " God cares about EVERY little thing that you care about, & more." Even the TINY things. I kept them in the drawer and didn't use most of them.
I’ve often wondered about the use of yoga moves, even with an intention only to stretch and exercise. I know that the Lord speaks to us about different activities in our lives, and we may not all get the same insruction, but, I have heard many many stories similar to this, and I think it makes sense to consider. There are many ways that we can stretch and move our bodies that don’t have to be a particular sequence of poses that have an association with and probably an attraction to demons.

Yes agree that stretching and relaxing has many benefits. I practiced yoga for 10 years, lived the life, lived in one of the largest yoga / 'conscious' 'spiritual' communities for the past decade. @@realilty
Possession can be very subtle. It not all levitation and climbing the walls. From my personal experience of living in a yoga spiritual new age conscious BS community with people from all over the world, is that most of them are lost, searching-and seeking for meaning, connection as well as to be part of something, and a second lease of life on their neglected middle aged body. The saddest part is that even with all the searching and the healing process, which becomes an obsessive full time job, is that they are still sad and empty inside. Oh and lets all get on the vegan band wagon while we are at it. The only thing they and we need, is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. So simple@@realilty

I wish most who go testimonies would really go in to detail about the supernatural experiences because a lot of people have snd are going through similar experiences and it helps us to feel like we’re not alone and crazy. Because the spiritual realm can we quite strange from everyday experiences….normal experiences. It’s hard sometimes. I have seen demons also and they used to scare me. I was getting into new age stuff without understanding what it really was. God pulled me out of that real quick before it escalated and I wasn't even a believer at all.. he spared me for some reason. My life was very dark before.

Amen amen amen🙏 I have a unique testimony… was I was young I opened the door to the devil… playing the ouiji board game… at around the age 8 or so… I then started seeing spirits in my home black and white figures… I heard demons speaking to me… I was so scared that game followed me wherever I went a few years down the rd… I was at my friends house they had that game there demons went in them… this was almost 30 years ago… that’s a whole other testimony… I’ll give a few things am that happened but it sounds better explained in person… so I noticed they were acting weird growling etc… choking the other girls at the slumber slumber party…I found Bible started reading it.. the 2 friends the demons were in fell on the floor at the exact same time and started shaking growling speaking in a weird language and laughing while they were shaking… all of a sudden, they both stopped, shaking and set up, ran to the garbage and was throwing up. Mind you I didn’t know then what I know now I was delivering them casting out demons. I didn’t even know that was in the Bible until some years ago. There was another experience with that game. I went over my friends from work. I was around 18 I went in there I seen them playing it. I said you guys don’t wanna mess with that it’s real. They said you are right on the so-called game it said we don’t like her. They said you don’t like her it said the girl in the red was wearing red. They looked at me and said who JAMIE said yes JAMIE she knows too much. i then left 😮 there are so many other stories. I can’t even fit on this message, but I was making some videos about it deleted it, but I need to remake them from opening the door to the devil I develop severe anxiety I lost my voice on and off for 15 years I had many and did things 2. cope with fear rejection because my father didn’t want me my mother didn’t even want me in the beginning anyway so I became to start seeking Jesus I found him I heard him speak to me. I know what’s going on. I know that there’s a spiritual battle I know there’s demons and people they oppress people. Things before they happen. I used to be really good at that but I told God that I didn’t want anything unless it was from him. I have a very unique gift just like the rest of the chosen ones…. I have been self delivering myself for about three years now I got my voice completely back my whole mind and everything is renewed. I’m not even the same person I’ve changed so much. I do realize that I am a new creation and I see through the eyes of Christ. I look at people like we are all children of God and everybody that I see either has the Holy Spirit or is being spiritually attacked. You can see it right in their eyes. I had demonic dreams when I started realizing opening my eyes that’s another testimony in itself. Also, I heard God speak to me that’s another testimony in itself. As much as many people want to be naive and say that yoga is a physical practice of stretching, the fact is that the specific physical postures are in worship of the many deities / demons in Hindusim, hence inviting them into their being. From my experience in new age communities and all that goes with it for many years, those that live and practice this lifestyle are at their core still searching as it does not fill them with the Holy Spirit. This is only possible through the only way to the Father, God. This is through Jesus Christ. I challenge anyone to invite the trinity of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into their life for one month and tell me that you are not changed beyond recognition for the good.
People pursue yoga primarily to be fit and maintain their bodies whilst being part of a click, though yoga is primarily a hindu religious practice, with the physical asanas just one of the 7 limbs of yoga. Acceptance of everything and anything, being so wonderfully inclusive is the biggest problem in the world now, leading to an erosion of long held values which hold a society together. Thanks for asking! The Bible says, thou shall have no other gods before me. Just the poses themselves in the yoga practice are a form of worship to Hindu gods.

Would you say this is true of all types of yoga, including yin? I like how those long stretches feel on my body, and can't find any wother type of workout that has the same effect. Plus I read that yin yoga was developped in the 90s, which makes me wonder just how much of yoga is in it. But maybe I'm just fooling myself.
You can stretch without the actual "flow" of yoga. Maybe just look up some deep stretching exercises
@@TheSaltPsalm37 there is no flow in yin yoga, it's just long static strerches. But I think you're right. There really isn't much reason why I should do yoga instead of regular stretching.

I myself am skeptical. Consider that millions of people do yoga around the world, and don't report supernatural or demonic encounters. It could be the lady herself and not the activity she does that is susceptible to such experiences.
I understand your point. I myself was into yoga and new age spirituality for 7 years. I used to think that yoga was actually helping me, every time I practiced yoga I‘d feel better afterwards. I did not have any demonic encounters but ever since Jesus has found me and saved me 5 months ago my life has changed drastically. Looking back, I can see now that all of these practices were actually causing my depression and emotional torment instead of helping them. Ever since Jesus, I’ve been completely depression free which is a miracle to me! 🙏🏻 It’s all thanks to him. So maybe not everyone sees demons but I am convinced that yoga does open demonic doors that will slowly but surely lead you into darkness and also get you hooked on all of these spiritual practices. So this is my testimony. Feel free to ask me anything. I am beyond grateful for Jesus. He opened my eyes and got me out of the darkness I was in and I didn’t even know it until I was fully out of it. When I was Christian, I was very depressed and lonely. And something felt off about it too. I didn't find that same peace and love that you spoke of until after I left. Today I wouldn't call myself a spiritualist, but I do believe in God. Just not the Christian version of him.
I don't due yoga, but my wife use to and some of my friends still do and they look happy and healthy. It's strange that some people see evil in what others experience enlightenment, balance and health. The human heart is a mercurial thing.
