I didn't find this. Kevin and DUNKIN showed this years ago. In fact looking back at their vids I now realize DUNKIN showed not only ammo but also Lorenzo's Artifact and Kevin mentioned in a comment here that he also said it works on things other than ammo.
I'm just an idiot who must have been too focused on the ammo part of their vids back then to realize. Truth is I've never had a desire to cheat ammo so maybe that's why I blanked out.
I know you've had to dupe certain items in the past so hopefully you get some benefit from this -new- *ancient* andimproved method.
MegaPichuman left a comment asking if anyone can confirm this works on PS4. I'm pretty sure it should since Kevin's old vid was on PS4. If you're willing to confirm and let them know that would be great. If you don't have time that's fine too.

Great video Sheck! I didn't know about this for anything. As a PC user if I want extra and I'm doing a playthrough where I allow myself the luxury of the console I use the additem command. BUT knowing this is great for console users. That you and the other gamers figure out these steps is impressive! Keep enjoying the commonwealth the way that makes it fun for you!
The PC or mods would make it much easier but it's nice that things like this exist for us vanilla no mods console players.

I'm an idiot because I watched those vids years ago and never made the connection. Kevin actually commented here and told me both he and DUNKIN said in their vids it works on more than just ammo. That makes me even more of an idiot. It's totally fine. I'm OK with admitting when I'm dumb or wrong. Especially if I learn from it or if it can help others.

Can confirm this works still, used it to get .45 ammo for the spray and pray weapon.
If you get 1 round in the storage and it says 1 round removed at the top left and the rest in your inventory it hasn’t worked and you need to try again.
Timing is everything, keep going till you get it!

They wanted to know if it still works on PS4. I'm pretty sure it does but I'm not on PS4. Would you be willing to leave them a comment and let them know?

You're not stupid. Hell, I am more stupid, as I still can't figure out how to duplicate.
I tried a few times, but couldn't get the hang of it.
Same with building using pillar and fire glitches. I cannot get them to function repeatedly.
I'll grab something, place it where I want, and it works.
I'll build the next thing, grab it, place it where I want (similar to the first) and it won't work.
I try for a bit, then get frustrated because I'm spending more time trying to get a build for a story I want to tell, that I forget the story, or just say "forget it! 😖".
That is why I use Place Anywhere. I'm too dumb to build with glitches and duplication. 🤷♀️😞

The timing can be pretty tricky. You also run a lot of mods. I'm not sure if any of them break the duplication glitch but I know SarDeliac had a mod at one time that broke the fire glitch.
Nothing wrong with using PA. A lot of players don't want to deal with the hassles of building vanilla. I personally enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to make something place or glitch or force it where I want it to go. Usually once I figure out how to build what I want I lose interest in finishing building what I wanted. It's the hunt more than the catch that gets me I guess.

I just left him a suggestion for the mod G2M. It gives the option of increasing build size by a maximum of 1000x (as I recall. I never go that high to be safe on my system), as well as enabling an option of having autoclose doors (cuz settlers and Dogneat love to open them. 🙄😄), and it gives a bunch of build objects you can't get in a number of other mods. Like snappable cargo containers.

Hey Sheck, you made me laugh there both me and dunkin mentionned stacked items/ objects not necessarily ammo. I think you got confused because you use the feeder to launch the items on the conveyor belt.

Glad I could make you laugh. As I was adding the links to the description I noticed DUNKIN dupes stacks of Lorenzo's Artifact at the end of his video. I think I got confused because I've never had the desire to dupe or cheat ammo. Only things for building. I must have switched off my brain back then.
No matter what it's good I finally learned it and hopefully it will help others who may not have known about the saving and quitting part.
MegaPichuman left a comment asking if this works on PS4. I'm almost certain it still does but I don't have a PS4 to confirm it for them. If you have the time would you be willing to check and let them know? If you're too busy I totally understand. No worries.

tbf I know the duplication glitch but I don't tend to use it. I know it works with a stack of item regardless of the item though. I used it with junk ammo weapons and unique outfits so far I'll answer his comment

Even after the first Next Gen patch, this can work. I highly recommend the Alien Blaster Rounds, Mini nukes, Fusion Cores and, if you wanna stomach the attempts, the Your SPECIAL book.
Gold Bars and Legendries are honorable mentions, who doesnt want every companion running around with Big Boys w/ MIRVS

Like and subscribed, very good at explaining it.. I smoke a lot weed.. I’m using this to duplicate the Cabot Family Mysterious Serum to make every vault 88 settlers immortal immortal. Even tho they technically already are in a sense lol.. Thanks 😅

About the stacks, when dog meat drops in front of you should not look at it before grabbing whats in the conveyor or it will not work

Are you aware that you can get your S.P.E.C.I.A.L.s above 10 by taking temporary debuffs to your stats? It's easy in survival if you don't eat or sleep for several days to drop your stats really low. Then you can collect even more books to bring them up to 10 again. Once you eat and drink, or return to normal difficulty you will then end up with more than 10 points.

@theinsaneshecklador6598 so I tried it on an established toon. Lvl 30. Wondered why my charisma wasn't being added, had +11. Then realized my gear!! Doh! Have 22 copies now, but not done yet. Too bad they don't sell.
@@Julsdad The timing can be tough. Someone recently mentioned using Dogmeat to grab items off the conveyor is a lot easier to time. I can't confirm because I have yet to try that but it's something to keep in mind.
This glitch doesnt work anymore, couse if i press befor it goes in , there will be writen in the left conor item removed
It should still work. I just made this vid a few weeks ago and it hasn't been patched out.
The timing is difficult to get correct. The "item removed" prompt means your timing was pretty close but not exact. In my vid you can see me get that message at approximately 0:24 and 0:30. I also only duped one out of the ten tries I attempted and I've been doing this trick on and off for many years.
I recently suggested to another viewer to load the machine up with dozens or hundreds of pieces of random junk but make a note of how many items you put in. Run them through a couple of times trying to dupe them. At that point you will have likely duped at least one item. Once you know that you successfully duped at least one item your confidence will grow that you can do it more. They messaged me back a few days later and said they were finally able to dupe some items.
A few tips I can think of are it's easier for me when the belt is moving left to right but the opposite may be true for you. Some items are easier than others to dupe. Small items are tougher. Try varying your timing. Grab some things earlier than you think is right and some later than you think is right. A lot of people say to look at the shadow line in the machine but the shadow moves with the time of day so it's not always the same. Other people have said to watch for the item name to pop up on screen and then push the button slightly after that.
You might also want to look at similar vids from some other creators. They might have some more helpful tips on getting the timing correct.
Good luck. Patience and persistence should pay off if you're willing to give it time.
P.S. I just went and tried on my vanilla un-modded Xbox save and I was still able to dupe items.
Get dog meat to pick it up, not you.
Ohw and lol those Industrial purifiers can't be build in any setlement. the cheaper one not either. But the powered water pump can, and by using my little trick and using that one exact as shown you can use hand pumps too. Although sometimes you come across many ghost using a couple of those handpumps. lol so better is to use the powered waterpump. You can put up such pumps on higher barn floor pieces with garden plot on top of that. So it would be a bit out of the way if settlement got attacked.
Yes the garden plots work well for those powered water pumps and then you can move them wherever you like. If you put the garden plot on a rug you can even fit many waterpumps right on top of each other to look like only one.

Most people that playing f4 does own all dlc, and perhaps a few of those world creation club if not all. So yeah. So only for the few left, who wants to get platinum they would like to have those tricksys.

Very cool video, I tried the conveyor belt trick a few years back and I couldn't get the timing down for nothing, I would get it every so often, but I just got tired of messing with it. I do have one question though, can you duplicate ballistic fiber using the normal workshop trick or do you have to use the conveyor for that?
If you are talking about the ballistic fiber base component it would be done with the normal workshop trick. If you only have something like military grade duct tape you would have to drop it on the ground and scrap it like normal first. This would turn it into the base components of ballistic fiber, adhesive, etc. Then you could workshop glitch just the fiber. If you wanted to dupe the actual rolls of duct tape you would use the conveyor. The workshop trick only works on broken down base materials like wood or steel and the conveyor only works on complete items like wooden spoons or metal buckets.
The conveyor trick is hard to get the timing correct. You saw I only got one out of ten the first time and I've been doing this for years. I did this video to show how to do stacks of more than one at a time. For years I had been doing everything single. The crazy thing is the vids I watched 6 years ago did talk about doing stacked non-ammo items but somehow it completely slipped my mind. After uploading this vid RUclips has been suggesting other people's vids of this trick. I actually clicked on one that was uploaded last year. After clicking on it I saw where I actually commented on it back then for showing how to do stacked items. Even after commenting on this very technique only a year ago I totally forgot about it. At least now that I've made my own vid I should be able to remember. lol
BTW I sent you a comment with a link to the 3rd installment of the MS series. Did you get a chance to check it out or have you decided to wait until I finish them all? EZEfallout decided he only wanted to watch the first one until they all went public.

Hey, random question since I dont really have a way of contacting you but do you know the locations of any intact picture frames in Far Harbor? So far I only have the 2in1 by southwest harbor and the cat painting in the ruined church.

I really don't play Far Harbor enough and am not terribly familiar with it. My first thought was the church which you already know about. I remembered The Sole Dweller finding some others... Just looked and that was Southwest Harbor. Sorry I'm not of much help.
Thomas Xplores has just started his Far Harbor unmarked location series and is posting 3 locations every day. There may be some paintings that pop up there soon. I'll leave a comment and see if he knows of any.

@@orangesqueasy I've long wanted to make a video off as many painting locations as I can. It's one of those projects that's been on the back burner for years. I actually had a bunch of clips on an old laptop that died. I think I have a backup somewhere on a thumb drive but that would take some work to sort through.
Good news for you is I remembered another one from Far Harbor. I have a notepad that I write inspiration, tips, locations, etc on when watching people's streams or vids. Cliffs Edge Hotel is written down as having a painting. If my memory is correct it is in an office type room but don't quote me on that part. Just know it's somewhere in the hotel.
As for the Commonwealth I can think of some for you. I know there are more but it's hard to remember without my list. I know you mentioned Jamaica. Fallout Gaming Shelter says the pictures change with each reload. I've never noticed that before and don't know if that happens to all pictures in the game or just there. West Everett Estates IIRC has a couple in a cardboard box as well as sitting out in the open. You probably know of the box ones already but just in case.... I wasn't aware of your elevator ones. Can you name the locations? Ft Hagen? Gunners Plaza? Somewhere else? I just looked at EZE's 3 vids and I knew of all 3.
Easy City downs has a couple in the building under the bleachers. There is a tunnel just behind Hangman's Alley. If you exit the east side of that tunnel you'll see Anna's Cafe. There is a picture on the upstairs floor. In Quincy there is a makeshift bridge heading from one of the buildings over to the highway. That building has one on the desk. Just north of Big John's Salvage is an irradiated pond. The shack there has a painting. Eleanor the trader who lives in a trailer near Fairlane Hill Estates has a painting marked "steal." Covenant has one marked "steal." There is some sort of ocean pump house thing off the west coast of Spectacle Island with a pic. There is a construction trailer kinda near General Atomics Factory with a painting. If you look at Thomas Xplores video number 861 you can briefly see the trailer in the background at the 2:17 mark. (I'm pretty sure that's the trailer I'm thinking of). Just east of Hub City Auto Wreckers are a couple broken houses. One has a brahmin in it and the other has a pic on the second floor. It will take some parkour or a jetpack to get to it
I know there are others but I'm kinda drawing a blank at the moment. Hopefully my brain will wake up and I'll recall some more. If I do I'll let you know.

As for elevator cell exits, theres a couple of places where you can drag items out of a elevator, thus eliminating the loading screen problem. The two locations I've discovered in the commonwealth that HAVE frames are Weston Power plant and Ticondiroga. Unfortunately they both have the same lightouse picture but it is fun to discover. Ticondiroga has Red barrels inside if that interests you.

The two locations WITH picture frames that i've found are Ticonderoga and Westen Water treatment plant (by Graygarden). Unfortunately they both have the same blue lighthouse picture but it is interesting that i've found those. Theres also a picture frame inside the Far Harbor Vault in the overseers office, which I just found.
Its funny. I've started a Artifact/Item collection build in Taffington, never knew there were frames rendered so close by that I've missed.
I'm having an issue with the glitch, every time I drop the singular round, it's always floating which doesn't get affected when I drop the whole stack after.
That's strange. I'm not sure what is going on. I had floating bullets but they still worked. Any chance you could shoot a short video for me to take a look at?

I can mess around with it this weekend. What exactly are you trying to do? Glitch a shop into the preexisting counter? If so which shop specifically?

There are videos out there duplicating the SPECIAL book with the conveyor. I don't know if you can do stacks of them. The videos I've seen are one book at a time over and over again.
when i did this with ammo is it supposed to give me 98 of my 99 and put 1 in the conveyor or am i doing it wrong
I haven't done this since the vid so I can't recall exactly. I think you are supposed to end up with one in the PipBoy and 98 in the conveyor. Are you getting an "item removed" notice? I'll double check this weekend and get back to you. Assuming this next gen update doesn't brick my game.
I just tested this. When I get more in my PipBoy and only 1 in the conveyor it means my timing is wrong (I think slightly too soon). This also seems to come with the "item removed" message. It also acts funny in that it sometimes causes one or two bullets to completely disappear or drop separately out of the PipBoy from the rest of the ammo. (you might want to save before starting so you don't waste all your ammo)
When my timing is right the majority of the ammo goes to the PipBoy and the conveyor holds only 1 ammo.
I've added a link in this video description that goes to a crappy unlisted video I just made. The first part is for someone asking the same question about fusion cores (they seem to act just like ammo) and the part after 4:55 was the part where I tested ammo for you. The ammo success happens at 7:00 if that's all you want to watch.

I think im doing something wrong. I tried with fusion cores, and when i get the time right, there are 19 cores in my inventory, and 1 in the conveyer (because i had 20). Then, i drop the coress that are in my inventory, then pick up the one in the conveyor belt, drop it, save and quit but it doesnt work. Any tip?
Strange. You have the opposite of what I had in this video. When I got the timing right there is only 1 in my inventory and the rest in the machine. I've never tried to duplicate fusion cores before so I don't know how they work. I'll test it out and let you know if I figure anything out. It might have to wait til the weekend to find the time so if I haven't replied by Monday hit me back.
I just tested this. When I get the majority in my PipBoy and only 1 in the conveyor it meant my timing was off. I believe it is slightly too soon but don't quote me on that. In my experience it also gives the "item removed" message when I do this. It also gets a bit buggy at times and completely deletes a core or it separates one of the cores when you drop them (I started with 11 and when I finally pulled off the duplication I had 8 which doubled to 16) I would save before starting duping so you don't accidentally waste all your cores.
When my timing was right I had 1 in my PipBoy and the rest in the conveyor.
In the video description of this vid I have a link to a crappy unlisted vid showing the fusion core duping. The second half of the fusion core vid after 4:55 shows ammo duping for someone else with a similar question. Ammo seems to work exactly the same. The start of the fusion vid shows my failed attempts and I eventually successfully dupe the cores at 2:50.

I want to know if the store/scrap duplication works on PlayStation (the one where you drop the items on the ground, and press the button you use to get to the build menu, and then pressing ‘store’ & ‘scrap’ at the same time”. I can never get it to work
It should. I just did a quick search on RUclips and found a video from 2022 with a PS4. The timing can be tricky until you learn it and even then it's not 100%. I slide my thumb across the buttons on my Xbox. I have been able to do it by quickly pressing both buttons but sliding works much better for me.
Another thing is that particular glitch only works on materials and not items. You can duplicate steel but not wrenches as an example.
One last thing. You wrote store/scrap but when I do it I press scrap first and then store.

Anyways, I’ve tried with both the actual resource itself, and stuff like desk fans. Thank you for letting me know that only the raw material works.
It’s clearly very difficult to get it, but I’ll keep trying. I’m sure if I keep at it then I’ll get it eventually. Also, thanks for telling me the order in which you press the buttons, I’m sure that’ll help me a lot.

Sorry Herman. I'm not familiar with mods. I've only used 3 or 4 mods in the entire 9 years I've owned Fallout 4 and I deleted those years ago.
I just do the trick of dropping guns on the ground and storing them in the workbench. It doesn't take too long and it's easy to keep track of how much I've exceeded the build limit.
@@theinsaneshecklador6598 Lol and you can go over the limit like 3 or 4 total bars without any glitch worries. LOL. Well, maybe one of your vieuwers will react. Btw you can throw anything on the floor to scrap or to store. Mostly weapons will gives you glitches way way earlier cause you redo same weapons over and over. So most of time I'll go collect loot and fresh weapons to just scrap if needs too. Perhaps I'll have my capture card soon, and Iam able to livestream again. Surely I'll do F4 and perhaps only using the unofficial patch mod maybe not even that one.
@HermanBogaers There is one mod I have used that allows you to increase the build limit by insane amounts. Like 100x more than the vanilla size given. I think even 1000x more.
I never go above 4x just for my laptop's safety. But I'm pretty certain it goes 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 50x 100x, 1000x.
The mod is called G2M. It gives you some very cool build objects in your menu, too. It works well when used in conjunction with other build mods like cVc Dead Wasteland, USO, The Kuro Tab, and the like.
G2M also includes many build objects many other build mods don't. For example, snapable cargo containers that come with windows cut out, and autoclose doors. And snapable cabin parts to make the green cabins we see in the Commonwealth, but with repaired steps, and a variety of walls and windows, with different glass types to add to those windows.
G2M comes with a holotape that allows you to enable the doors and gates to autoclose (settlers, and Dogmeat, just love to open everything. But never close them. 😖).
That same holotape let's you adjust your build limit.
It does come with a caution regarding using too large of a build size, as that is one reason why the vanilla game has small build sizes. But I've seen that going about 4 build bars (4x) seems to be pretty safe without freaking a system out and causing crashes in those settlements.
But it allows you to go SO much bigger.
The only requirement for this mod is to have all of the dlc.

There are one or two other mods that increase only build budget. But G2M offers many other features that are useful and fun, that I prefer it over those.
You can also assign a bed to be yours. So settlers won't wander throughout the settlement and take your bed, even after you've assigned them one of their own. Bastiges. 😠😄

Can anyone confirm this works on ps4
It should work on PS4. Kevin Alibert whom I mentioned in the video is on PS4. There is a link to his tutorial in my vid description. I will say it can be quite tricky to get the timing correct. I cut out a lot of failures while making this video. Once you get warmed up it does get a bit easier. Also some items seem harder to time than others.
PS4 player here also I'm one of the guy being linked in Sheck's description. 100% works on PS4 regardless of the item. The only limiting factor is that it can't be too big an item as it has to fit in the conveyor storage

Anyone else try duping the homing beacon nukes ? I didn’t try saving and loading back in but only the original 3 had nukes rest were duds. Went one fire one dud one fire one dud haha
Plus side all my provisioners have full assault recon armor with cryolaters and me and Danes rocking the nuka quantum power armor. FYI some power armor or big items do fit just gotta time it right if you always make your companion pick up items for you you should have it done. My companions have always over 10k in weight in junk and guns haha
I haven't tried the homing beacons. Pretty "cool" that all your provisioners have that gun now.
Lol, better I'll make a new line here. Got a lot to tell I guess. Again Iam so sorry I told you you could use Industrial purifiers everywhere. Only verry ocasionaly that I will use one of those. Perhaps in the castle I will cause its already there. Than it was some time ago that I've played F4, and my memory of playthroughs are outstanding. Can even walk you through missions blind if you call me and tell me what you see and where you are. But then shy, my recolection of names is verry verry bad, same counts for dates. I could have been proffesor WWII if not for that problem, well Proffesor in WWII and just high school teacher in most of the writen History. my problem, it has a name: NLD. Can't get those names and dates in my short time memory in the first place. And defenitly you need to that first before you can put it in your longtime memory. But things that happens I'll remember for a long time if not for always. lol
Now, Probably somewhere next month, I will allready be able to stream games again. My internet was bad in the first place. lol due to bad connection only. I njust need windows 11 and loose all those seperate streaming programs choosing only steam stream service. Lol they now all work against each other. Iam good in playing games yeah, just click on them and done, I was good in streaming on PS4 yeah I just had to click and ready. Same counts for buying install and reinstall games. Cause you guessed it just click and ready. But installing softweare and such. uhm, uhm and uhm lol a complete digibate.

Nice, but actualy useless. Every used dupli glitch will hunt you down later in the game. There are legit ways to hurry up this game too.
I've been duplicating material, items and ammo for years, unless you go overboard and have millions of one item the game handles it pretty well. all my settlers were armed with Kremvh's tooth at some point. Some of us have been playing the game the legit way since its first release. just need a new commonwealth to build more settlements and duplicating things getting mass XP from the start just speeds up the process of unlocking them. BEthesda should have released a "creative mode" and we wouldn't need those glitches
@@KevinAlibert the amount is about 9999 of anything doesnt mather what. Anything over that might give glitches.
I've been duplicating items for my builds for a couple years now and nothing has ever "hunted me down". If my settlements become unstable it is because I go WAY over the build limit.
@@BWTF_Ben I've dupl over 30k of stimps, some time later found dead bodys with that amount of stimps over and over again.
Created over 20k of 306 bullets just the propper way when I stored them there would sudenly be way more and the factory broke down. yeah and overbuilding settlements has way way different glitches I've seen those too.
