The temple attracts lakhs of pilgrims from all over the world who come here to rid themselves of the evils in their lives. It is said that the temple's atmosphere and the divine aura of Lord Hanuman within the temple itself is enough to drive away all evils. The temple and its surrounding area also mysteriously have a climate that is colder than the rest of the city or even district in which it is situated.
