    Most of the big tech youtubers say that air coolers are the way to go now with Thermalright and Noctua and when they show a PC build its always a with a water cooler.
    Is it because of the ascetics and looks ? I have been using a cheap coolermaster Air Cooler in a very humid and hot country and never seen temps go above 80 degree.
    As soon as Nvidia 5000 series launches I will get a new PC which is probably later this year and I am really confused about water cooling vs air cooling.

    • @jessevelazquez7088
      @jessevelazquez7088 8 месяцев назад +1

      I also looked into this. Living in a similar climate as well. I've watched a bunch of reviews and read articles comparing the same. Air coolers and AIO coolers have very similar temps. Some air coolers even compete neck and neck with AIO's. Cooling is one of my top concerns. Most test and reviews do seem to be in different climates or n rooms with Air Conditioning. When it comes to buying coolers there are a few things I look at. Price, cooling capacity, sound, and aesthetics. If money is not a major factor I'd honestly go with a top tier aircooler. If that does not keep the temperatures low enough then grab a good AIO. Most reviews show a few degrees in difference from AIR and AIO's. So it may not be worth it unless your CPU is running too hot. I say try an Air cooler first, if it works then that is perfect. If it does not and you need more cooling power, grab a good AIO. Since the top aircoolers are within a few degrees of AIO's, I wouldnt grab an AIO first. UNLESS.....aesthetics are a major concern. Then AIO's are the way to go. Thats why most Influencers use AIO's. They look better and add more RGB fans. Even if I have the money, air cooling will be my first purchase. $40 cooler Vs $120 with similar results is a no brainer.

    • @stevens1041
      @stevens1041 7 месяцев назад

      Depends what your use is. If you do heavy gaming, or even a lot of video editing and that, AIO can make sense. Air coolers generally last much longer and if they fail, the failure isn't catastrophic (leaking fluids inside a PC is never good). Also, how big of a radiator can your case support? If you can install a 420 mm radiator in there comfortably, you will have much more benefit from AIO than someone, say, using a 240 mm radiator setup. Depends on your CPU of course.

    • @wellallnasib
      @wellallnasib 7 месяцев назад

      @@stevens1041 I already got Ryzen 7 7800X3D with a DeepCool AK500 with corsair 3000D airflow case. From what I understand that CPU is very efficient and does not produce much heat as its intel counterpart. So far temps are looking good.

    Don't want to be a hater but there is a very minimal difference between the 13700K and 14700K so wasting money on the 14700K isn't the greatest decision. Although keep up the great work I love your channel thanks for the great content.

    I just built a 7800x3d, 4080 super, 2TB high end NVMe, and a 360mm AIO pc for $1960+tax. I find most of your builds are just too expensive for what you get.

      At that point just get a RX 7800 XT, it’s literally the same if not better for performance not features. Realistically the best gpu for this would be a RX 7900 XTX or a VERY good deal on a 4080

    2000$ system with a 400$ case? Are you insane? That kind of case can be justified if you don't care about momey and already have a 4090 and 14900k

    • @GeekaWhat
      @GeekaWhat  10 месяцев назад +2

      You didn't watch the case bit of the video where I addressed this, and pointed to cheaper options for the price if you want to stick to the $2000 budget. I hadn't initially realised just how expensive this case was, hence the add in during the case section.

    • @dungeondeezdragons
      @dungeondeezdragons 10 месяцев назад

      @@GeekaWhat No hate towards you. You should have more respect for how much your words can influence people. Some people use videos like this as advice on what to buy. Pairing 4070 with a case that costs 50% of it is just bad advice.
      I did watch the video and i noticed you addressing the point, however it does not change or mitigate the fact that you chose to include the case into a 2000$ build.
      Again, if this was a high tier 4090+14900k build, i would have zero issues with the choice of an over the top expensive case, and you initially forgetting how much it costs is a mark against you, not an excuse.
