Are the career mode matches still horribly scripted where one match you’re winning 10-0 against a four star rated team, and then the next match you’re sweating your balls off for a draw against a two and a half star team?
Im saying, I’m spanking Madrid with a hattrick and then I get eliminated by Bilbao in the copa del Rey
Arsenal career mode, lost to wolves 1-0 then beat Aston Villa 4-0 then drew 0-0 to Brighton
Very happy to see the walk outs back in the game as it was criminal they took it out in 24, also like the idea of being able to play matches with my youth players but was hoping for a full 11 v 11 mode rather than the 5v5 Rush format
It's still absent from player career mode smh. EA are some f@$&ing inept morons.
I got smashed playing that crap with the kids on ultimate difficulty. EA always gives us the very bare minimum. Can't believe that after all these years still can't track stats from different seasons in manager career mode.
Glad you played it ! Tried to use the 10 hour free play ……. Watched the intro then got a message saying my 10 hours are up 😂😂 . My hopes are diminishing for this game
I've been playing the trial for 5 hours now and it won't tell me how long i have left. I have to put a timer on my phone so I know how long left.

I'll do the same as always.. I'll play fc24 this year whenever I feel the urge for a career mode save. And switch to this when it goes free on gamepass next year.
the shooting is the same for years, the jersey floating looks like a dress waving in the wind lol. the walking and dribble looks horrible. make the ball smaller too

About argument that this is the same game. I played couple games using EA trial before buying. Last year and year before I only played 2 games and waited with buying till December when it was on sale. This year I played already like 7 games and I really consider buying for full price. Why? Cuz gameplay changed, it's looking better. Players are actually running to the ball, following instructions. I did not have situation that I am moving one player and rest is standing still. There is movement to ball. Defending is better for me. Pace is balanced so even running fast is not making huge advantage. During games I had to change my game plan which was cool. Bad thing - after 30 minutes I got suggestion I need to do changes and well Konate too tired after half an hour, really? But playing is fun, and it was not fun in previous editions.
It's what am thinking too. Gameplay looks fun especially for career mode. Did you have the simulation mode on and how was it?

@@edwinndirangu659 I played with sim mode turned off but after reading your comment I played with "the wind" and didn't notice any difference. I am a career-mode guy and a kick-off guy ;) I tried to play Ultimate, but the squad battles game felt so uncool that I skipped it. What is more, I feel the grass is greener in this game, more natural, and more beautiful. Someone might laugh but the grass is actually important as we are looking into it almost all the time playing football games. In the previous edition grass for me was looking sad. Idk, but this game looking more colorful. Overall, I have the feeling I will play this game a lot :)
Yeah guys i agree i played career mode and now the AI actually makes you defend and give passes with purpose, I noticed that too, in some games I had to change my tactics because the team I was playing had a very tight defensive line, players get tired and you have to consider that now. Players are not just standing idle anymore and overall the experience feels a lot more real

I like the set up and the actual in game
Play. Feels more realistic. Also the youth tourneys is a fun way to be connected to your prospects. Harder to cut when you’ve invested so many games into them. They need better celebrations after trophies, Big game wins, transfer decisions etc. I also would make more announcers and more fans involvement make the stadiums seem more individual and unique
Im already seeing people say they’re tired of fc25 after 1 day😂. I warned people that this would happen when they were releasing the trailers but they didn’t wanna listen. Happens every single year but people are always hooked to a new game like it’s a shiny toy. Problem is, the game rarely changes but minor stuff that we’d be sick and tired of in a week. Around October, you watch there be complaint videos already. Glad I didn’t succumb to getting this garbage especially after the shambles that was fc24😂.

Next game has no choice but to be MUCH better. EA is on warning GTA 6 will takeover next year. Plus Fifa 2K is coming. Undisputed just dropped on console...

There's literally nothing different outside of an updated menu and player youth tournaments. If anything, the player instructions and tactics are even less customizable now. Not to mention how they destroyed the directional pad tactics. Just buy 24 if you're playing for career.
Fifa could just release an update each year rather than ripping fans off with this game. No difference in gameplay from last year but you have to spend £70 to find that out. Shameful

Nothing has really changed for player career. Literally 95% FC 24. Still cant pick any playstyle you want, same cutscenes , still ridiculous objectives. No gloves for the player. They removed tattoos. Not buying this year
You know a small thing that really bugs me? In interviews/press conferences they have the manager say "I will not take any more questions" - wtf is that? It does my head in.
If you guys just expecting some radical change, you will be disappointed,
but if you guys appreciate small attention to detail, fc25 is so much than all fifa games: better generic face, better clothing, better animation, more youth scouting places with somewhat realistic face and name, Dynamic time of day

If you remove change all players from 1 team the game will corrupt but as long as you leave 1 actual player from a team it won't so ridiculous
My career mode is broken, I disabled transfers completely on settings before the season started and every team is making huge transfers?! Anyone else having this problem?
Of course play only on simulation mode. The classic is unrealistic and too fast simple very bad. But simulation mode is really good.

I bought FC25 this year, I skipped FC24 but I did play at my gf’s house. To be honest I think there’s a massive improvement for FC25, if you compare Fifa23 and FC24, the gameplay not much difference, but FC25 did feel like more realistic, the response between players passing and movement with the ball quite amazed me actually. I have only played U team today and try Rush inside the game mode, I felt Rush is quite fun as it is fast paced but different to Volta definitely. I am looking forward to try career mode as it seems EA added lots of new features that seems good. Last thing I really like is FC IQ, finally I can give much detailed intrusions to my players and how I wanted to play as a team, it is really a good change this year. Conclusion: FC25>FC24, Fifa23>FC24.

@@parkerC1990syeah and it gets worse.. don’t forget about the servers too, I literally cannot make a mass every time I play fit champions play offs. I literally conceded 90% of my goals because the game was unresponsive but even worse than FC 24…
I haven't played it yet, but from all the videos the player animations are miles different to FC24.

Is anybody having a glitch where you do the squad update on squads and then you change a team sheet save it then turn the game off go back to it later and its reverted back to the original team sheet ?
Why can they never get the premier league broadcast package right? Hopefully they update it in the next update
the new additional ai sliders. make this game quite good now . im in process of tweaking the sliders to my liking . going to start a career mode when i fixed the game

If I was on PC I would download the new kits in fc24 and wait until its cheaper every year. But since I'm on console I always get it at launch
I dont like that you can’t customize the player positions and formations that way you want it yourself, and the menus feel kind of too much. To many slides and frames.

The game is not that bad is better and more realistic I don’t know why people expect a perfect game is not going to happen ever, the game is improved and now you can experience a more immersive experience people just like to hate

EA and devs really did their thing on this game. It’s definitely not a fifa game anymore. Gameplay feels super realistic. Solid game forsure 🔥🔥

I like this game this year I think the gameplay is better on player movement it's ok but need ea fixed some bugs
my biggest issue is the bots right now are defensive tyrants and offensive dummies. if im on a team with 2 players in pro clubs it seems the game is scripted to force whoever to win. it all just seems pre determined and you have no ability to change the outcome no matter how you try and play. your team bots will literally give away the ball even if youre doing everything right for the other team to score. i know i will get the GET GUD comments but i have plenty enough skill to know when no matter what i do the game wont let me get down the field and score.
They should bring back a proper storyline like in fifa 18
Until the day they make the differentiation of playing against a strong team vs playing against a weak team, I won’t be buying the game. As I grew older it became more and more unappealing when i realised playing against a second division English team in FA cup feels the same as playing against Real Madrid in UCL.

They should give us more Add-Ons like generic national team packages or more youth player names. I say that, because they aren’t capable to put all of them in the main game.😢

It's still very bad fc 25 - it's a copy pasta of each 24 - no new menu's or nothing there has been 0 effort put into the game- the problems thr player base has complained about are still 100% a issue *_ it's not worth buying or playing
