    Thank you for sharing. Do you use a fixative during the drawing or after. If during is it a workable fixative and what do you use.

      Don't use any, tends to clump the charcoal and ruin the delicate blending. I work with a Mahl stick and frame the finished work under glass.

      Stonehenge print making paper by Legion, excellent for charcoal, and comes in a variety of shades
      Canson Mi-Teintes is also very good, with a lot of colors.
