- One of the songs that is dearest to my heart: November, from the album Totem, by Faun. The pictures are of Faun, sunsets, and from the concert at the magical FaerieCon 2009.

Viele Jahre später komme ich immer noch um diesen Song zu hören. So wunderschön, so sanft für's Herz...Faun auf immer und ewig.

Es liegt soviel in diesem Lied......man blickt zurück und ....eine Flucht nach vorn....Pagan Folk.....besser gehts nicht,soviel Gefühl

Eine Tasse warmer Tee, auf dem Fell am Boden sitzend, der Raum erhellt von Kerzen, draußen schneit es, die Flocken wirbeln von gelegentlichen Böen herum, es ist heimelig war, kein Laut ist zu hören, außer das gelegentlich Knacken von Holz in Boden, Decken und Wänden, und der Geruch von Anis, Fenchel und einer Spur von Holzfeuer.
Das ist das Lied für mich...
Es sind so viele Gefühle in diesem Lied! ...

Any time I am depressed, lonely, stressed out, I listen to these lyrics, remember what they mean, and feel warm on the inside. "Now here we are at the end of all things..." All sorrows pass, and when they do, the light shines towards us and we move forward.

diese Musik ist heutzutage eine der wenigen Möglichkeiten, die Augen zu schließen und sich in eine Zeit zu versetzen, die man selbst (vielleicht) nie erlebt hat . . .

Auch wenn deutsch natürlich meine Muttersprache ist... Dennoch gibt es in meinen Augen wenige Sprachen die es vermögen so viel auszudrücken, die so poetisch und tiefgründig sind...Und entgegen aller Vorurteile kann deutsch, wie man es in diesem Lied hört, auch eine sehr sanfte Sprache sein. Ich mag unsere Sprache :)
Und dieses Lied natürlich umso mehr ;)
Vorurteile gegen alles und jeden wird´s immer geben . . . Philosophen, Dichter und Denker. Reinhard Mey als Wortakrobat Meister der deutschen Sprache und Faun hat´s drauf dich in musikalisch-lyrischer Art für ´ne Weile in Märchenwelten abschweifen zu lassen obwohl ich auch Hardrock und Balladen in englisch höre, deren Texte ich kaum verstehe aber Musik ist international.....))

@cosmictimes Thanks for pointing that out, and also to whomever posted the song and translation, and to Faun as well. They are beyond talented in producing music that is itself deep reaching, even without grasping lyrics which do serve well in adding even more depth. Their music has ability to fill voids in lives of those so fortunate as to be graced by it, myself included.

in this discribtion is a mistake..the song ist not from totem, its from faun just like the pictures..i would recognice the voice everywhere..

This is the music to which I listen when the pain is so bad I want to kill myself. While I do not understand the words, the sounds of the instruments and voice soothe. Can a man love? I do not know; I have never observed it nor experienced it. But if he can, it is in this music.
I hope some day you find what you are looking for, but first learn to tove yourself, and then never alow anyboddy to hurt you.
