I will call later this spring. I have followed you for several years. I am 75, 6'4" and 180 pounds, and have needed a right hip replacement for many years. I am in good health other than my hip. I live in Kettering OH. Don't know how practical that would be, but I will call and see if I can get an appointment. to discuss it with you. I was very close to getting it replaced about a year ago, but the orthopedist I chose spooked me at the last moment as he said I should probably sell my Miata (and I have had roadsters since 16 off and on). I am 8days post op a FHR and the swelling is rather painful in my leg. I didn’t quite expect this but you have reassured me that it’s normal to experience this. And yes my leg feels like it weighs 10kg!
