- This is a video of my Simplex 2901-9833 on a 2903-9001 light plate. The code it's sounding is the general emergency pattern used on cruise ships.
As you may notice, the -9833 in this video is higher-pitched than usual.
I love that tone of the 7 short blast followed by one long blast and I've been on every Disney cruise ship and not been on oasis of the seas independence of the seas serade of the seas quantum of the seas and I'm going on navigator of the seas February 18 I'm excited and it's always a good idea to fly to your port a day before it ports
Some ships will use actual fire alarm horns as signaling devices for the general emergency alarm.
Fire Alarm Horns aren't loud enough. They use Yodalarm's Clifford & Snell, and Zollner Makrofon M75F Airhorns
@@FireAlarmHowTooGuy On Maine State Ferry boats I've seen MT's and old 80s/early 90s Faraday/Simplex horns like this one
"7 short followed by 1 long" general emergency signal
Abandon the building. The building is sinking
Lol!
7 short 1 long signal
Do you have the 2901-9833 and the 2903 for sale or trade?
Why does it crackle and clap at the end?
Poor-quality camera.
It's cheering for you
It sounds broken
This is the signal from my most viewed video: Disney Dream Lifeboat Drill.
The sound 😂
Very nice :)
slow march time
This is the signal for fire alarm (as the sign says)
General alarm is continuous sounding of the bells / siren.
California code
If that was Code 3. IT WAS REALLY SLOW.
It's the 7-short, 1-long pattern used as a muster signal on ships.
