    This may be the best demo I've ever seen.

    Just the thing for getting in and out of those tight spaces.

    Sounds so good that I don't need to buy an Elf.

      Well they are the same Amp aside from the drive and extra speaker out on the elf.

    Sounds very good. But is this head loud enough for concerts and rehearsals?

    • @Nym1a
      @Nym1a 4 года назад +1

      200 watts is enough for small gigs and so on, not for a concert but medium sized venues and so on :)

    • @jmwreck
      @jmwreck 4 года назад

      @@Nym1a is it really 200w @ 4ohms, my BQ500 isn't 500w @ 4ohms from what I've read in the forum. I am planning on getting a rumble 210 cab @ 8ohms, do you think it will be heard in a band rehearsal?

    • @aryehbarson
      @aryehbarson 3 года назад

      @@jmwreck TCE is sketchy about their power ratings: they don't even specify RMS or peak.
      BAM200 is supposedly 200 watts @ 4 ohms, no claim to output at 8 ohms.
      BQ500 is supposedly 500 watts @ 4 ohms, no claim to output at 8 ohms.
      Whether ~130 watts is enough for band rehearsal depends on how loud your band is. Jazz combo, maybe. Rock, no.

      Only if you plug it into a speaker.

  • @SixStringControl

    Is it plugged straight to the interface through the di out, or is that through a cab and mic’d up?

    • @aryehbarson
      @aryehbarson 3 года назад

      Yes, all solid state amplifiers can be used without a speaker connected.

      No, only DI, speaker and headphone outputs.

  • @mapi100
    @mapi100 4 года назад +1

    is this a beginner bass amp or an intermediate?

    • @aryehbarson
      @aryehbarson 3 года назад

      Both.
      Beginner as it is low cost, but lots of players are using it for either a practice amp or a spare amp, as it is very small and inexpensive.
