“Confessions” was Madonna’s last great album. I remember waiting in line outside Blockbuster Music that night for the release. There were probably 200+ Of us there. Met a lot of friends that night too. I must say, the whole melting into the floor thing at the end is particularly dope
As usual with Madonna, she always knew what 'the sound of the moment' was and when this album was produced, she really capitalized on the dance music sound (club/house/trance) of that era - great vibe going on in this song, the live sound steady punchiness really helped by a REAL drum kit being used here!

The break at 2:45 is probably the strongest, moving moment of the show. Note how she breaks the rhythm by the way she walks in slow motion. His departure at 3:52, is visually stunning, and so beautiful. Great show, great inspiration, great professionalism, great artist.
I've seen Madonna live twice. Once was in a gay nightclub in NYC just before "Ray of Light" was released. It was so cute because she was so nervous. Of course we all loved and supported her. She is amazing. I love this song and this performance is incredible. Madge at her best.
