Your Notion is so cute! I really should attempt to make mine more aesthetic. Currently it's very straight forward functional. But also the four hour Notion hole is deeply relatable
i would literally LOVE to see your notion !!!! i've already tweaked it a bit (especially when i realized the cat gif icon on the main page can't be seen on mobile .... saddest moment of my life) but i know i'll need to make some changes to actually make it functional and not just pretty haha

This video was so fun! I haven't had luck with Notion even though I have always wanted to, so this was awesome to see! I started using Asana for this semester of school and it has been a game changer! TBH the only reason why I started watching your channel was because I saw one of your vlogs where you had a mask (I got so excited!) and now you are a new favorite youtuber!

@jakearlow Thank you for responding! I understand where you are coming from, that's what I originally thought about Asana too. I use for the job I work at and it makes sense to able to assign takes to other members but you can easily ignore that function if you want to use it for yourself. What I like about it is that's its been easy to use for my neurodivergent self who loves planners but also needs structure. The best part in my opinion though is that sometimes when you complete a task a little animated dragon or unicorn goes across the screen!!!
You got this up so fast!! XD I love how it turned out! I find I'm constantly changing up my notion setup like every three weeks haha. But I think I've figured out that it doesn't work for me to keep to-do lists in Notion, but it DOES work to track longer term goals and see all my projects in one place. I also keep my new year's resolutions in there so I can keep them front of mind throughout the year. Anyway, can't wait to see how it progresses and I'd be curious to know how you end up refining your system! Currently, the vibes are on point! 👌
I forgot to mention that the pride and joy of my notion is a reading tracker where I keep track of every book on my TBR, how excited I am to read it, when it came out, when I read it, what I thought, and super specific genre categories lol

Your notion is so cute!!! I use notion to keep track of things I need to do/selfcare/chronic illness symptoms. I have to keep everything as just text and databases because of the way my brain works, it's very bland However my main toggle containing my daily list says "Open The Tome of Getting Shit Done" and the thumbnail for the page is a gif of Goku going Super Saiyen despite the fact I have not finished a Dragon Ball Z episode in like 15 years. But he is how I feel getting my basic tasks done lol
