Did you see Brylee's (?) Bell bottoms! Those are so cool! That was the style when I was in high school in the 70s. Tight to the knees then flared way out.

We actually are going to Myrtle Beach for a week in May. We went there last year in April. It was a little cold! We will definitely do some restaurant reviews while we are there. We thought it was a beautiful area when we went so many things to do some really beautiful shopping areas. One was around a lake and I cannot for the life and they think of the name of it!

Just catching up on some of your older videos. I loved your kind words about the business owner. We try to go to smaller family run businesses as well. Sometimes it's hard as we have a family member with allergies. Most chain restaurants are a bit more uniform in their preperation. And supply nutrition information online. So we have to be careful where we eat out. But Jen I have to agree with you. Hot crinkle cut fries are pretty good. I also like that you had a good amount of ketchup on your plate. I love ketchup with my fries. I have been a bit nostalgic lately and been craving BLT sandwiches. And I was just telling my husband the other day that I used to eat those, and a lot of club sandwiches when I moved to the states in the late 80s. Got to find me a place that makes good clubsandwiches now. 😊
Jen, my mom used to love club sandwiches, too! She has passed it down to me as well! Whenever I see a club sandwich on the menu I order it! And that was an amazing price they charged for the sandwiches, definitely great value for all you got! Also, the chocolate pie looked delicious! Now I’m in the mood for a club sandwich! lol!

Everything looks good. My mom made the best chocolate and coconut cream pies when she made them for church dinners she would make 6 of them someone always took one home but her pie plates always showed up the next Sunday lol
Love your videos! Can you highlight some healthy food options in a video. Eating meals like this is ok for a day or 2 on vacation. If you’re staying for a week it could be way too much.
We’re planning a trip to this area in October with some close friends. I went on Google Earth and saw that Grandmother’s Kitchen is literally right next door to where the office of our cabin rental is! So excited to try this place!!!
Hope they get homemade pies eventually. That one looked like Marie callenders to me. Everything else looked yummy. we may stop by when we are visiting in September.
OMGosh I'm drooling. Love a good club sandwich and those are my absolute favorite kind of fries. I like to dip mine in tarter sauce. When you said chocolate pie I thought it would be a homemade chocolate pie with homemade pudding. This looks like a slice of Edy's chocolate cream pie which cost around $4 for a whole pie.
Yes, I agree with you. We thought it was gonna be a homemade pie too, but I do not think it was. They said they had just opened so they were going to add some more desserts later. Hopefully they have.

As far as I am aware, it is still open. We were just in that area last week. It is a very mom and pop place though so you may not find anything online.
My family went in there a couple years ago and they set us all the way in the back! The place was empty and smelled like dirty mop water in there so We all left.
That is a bad experience, I will tell ya the place was very clean and no mop water smell. I hate that smell when I’m at a restaurant. Thanks for watching and commenting
