1:09:55 - That was really funny, especially since I'm watching this Orwellian, dystopian piano recital on a mobile phone! 😁 Thank you for keeping our spirits up in these dark times, and thanks for not mentioning that dreadful term "new normal", because streaming should not be the future of classical music performance. Just like radio and television, online streaming can not and will not replace live performance.
Dear Mr. Ohlsson! What a delightful treat. I have followed you since discovering you in 1214 and you could not have a more devoted fan! All the best always, and many many thanks.
Maestro Ohlssohn, Am enchanted by hearing you play this quirky, unpredictable Beethoven Sonata! Will finish rest of your magnificent recital tomorrow. Thank you for bringing this congenial piece to my attention. May God keep you in top form which enables you make such marvelous music! I am forever grateful.
Thanks to Mr. Ohlsson and whoever else that helped this recital happen. I wish that D# was not out of tune specially after the break when the technician adusted the tuning probably because Mr.Ohlsson asked for it. I remember also in Chopin competition in 1970 (I guess) when Mr. Ohlsson was playing Scherzo No.1 one of the strings of a high note broke but he did not stop or distubed. (listen from 3 : 0 4 and pay attention to 3 : 0 7 when he plays the highest note ruclips.net/video/cUOQJ7ukYrk/видео.html ). You are not so lucky with your insrument 😁
A fine pianist. His no nonsense approach and comfortable tempi are ok, even if they may sound unimaginative and dull at times. The big hands no doubt come handy, especially in the Prok. Thanks for uploading.
Magistral,Maestro 🙏👏

Lieber Garrick Ohlsson,

It was very gracious of Mr Ohlsson to perform a live-streamed concert amidst the COVID crisis!
Bravo ! Mr. Ohlsson, think of a guy in the audience standing up, clapping, and yelling Bravo ! That's me.
Brilliant listening to him tuning that piano to be sweet for the Chopin. Middle Bottom Top. A true master at work!

Two new references in piano playing: THE version of Beethoven opus 22 and THE version of Prokofiev Sonata n° 6.
