Michael Clark CBE is a Scottish dancer and choreographer. Throughout his career he has remained at the forefront of innovation in dance. He provided the choreography for the acclaimed Alexander McQueen dance marathon inspired S/S 04 'Deliverance' show and the subsequent 'Blade of Light' image by Nick Knight that features the collection. Clark also opened the Amex-sponsored 'Black' show in London in June 2004 by dancing with Kate Moss.
Great interview! Michael Clark's face is expressive, delicate & soulful. I saw Michael Clark dance with Stephen Petronio in the early 1990s in New York. They took my breath away.
I remember seeing him perform in Melbourne, Australia, in the mid 1980’s. The ticket was bought for me. So I didn’t know what to expect. But wow was I impressed. I’ll never forget the music they played while setting up the big stage. It was Grace Jones song Pull Up To The Bumper. The whole performance, dancers were just so sophisticated cool. There’s no other words to describe it
Huge Love and Respect for this guy..
I hope Michael realises his own brilliance, creativity .. we love him so much xx
Love him since 80ties :-)
thank you , so good!
Magical man
Still such a beautiful man...loved his collaborations with Leigh Bowery 💗
one of the aspects of Michael that interested me was that he knows the rules of dance and chose to break them - until wrong feels right - as Iggy said ;)
Would have loved to see some photo material of what they are talking about. Saw him dance in the 80s - with crutches, wearing a strap-on! Might have been 2 separate pieces.
Bit late, but its this ruclips.net/video/92tflPOPZ2U/видео.html
Never better than late, thanks :-D
Caliban!

It's a fashion statement a bit like Alexander mcquuen hanging himself with a belt in his wardrobe
Yes, really.
