Great looking book with all the maps and such at the beginning. I hope you get something back from Warlord as compensation for the book being damaged upon receipt. I'm glad to hear things are easier to find. Looking forward to getting my hands on this book soon.
I got my Clash in good condition and so did others , and yeah sometimes it happens. Just shouldn’t if it’s a book and properly protected . I Still haven’t heard back from them about it !
Unfortunate to see the arrived product with bent corners. This 2nd edition book has some worthy changes and augmentation. Our edition, too, arrived with very minor dings on its cover edges (at the top).
It’s a great update to the rules. Looking forward to trying some of the changes. As I said if it was a regular rulebook I might just accept but the fact it’s quite pricey and limited - it’s a shame it arrives with any chance to damage.
@@carthagemustbedestroyed With any luck, they will help resolve your shipping damage. Would have been best to have shipped these in cardboard sleeves within a bubble wrap sleeve. Sign of the "times" perhaps...
@@DerSchleier yes. I agree. The main problem seems to be they used a box too big for the book and a thin layer of bubble wrap. When FedEx gets ahold of it and ships it it ends up taking a beating. Could have been avoided with better protection . Well here’s to hoping they can help me out with the damage. Cheers!
Yeah it sucks! Luckily I got a replacement - which I’ll prob make a video about soon when I’m done preparing Kickstarter orders. Hope you could get your blood and plunder books replaced !
I wish i got this book when it dropped but i forgot about it lol also what faction does richard I lionheart even go with in hail caesar? I just recently got into the game and was curious what army he goes with. I know he's English but idk if he goes with the anglo saxons or normans.
He would be in the medieval crusader section - I do believe they get their own separate army lists for the crusades that aren't labeled as anything else.
You are 100% accurate on the basing thing. It’s true in almost every game.
If I dropped $120 US on a book, I would expect it to arrive in perfect shape, too!

I can feel your demaged cover paine - recently had the same experience with Clash of katanas rulebook. Although limited edition is even worse.

They replaced the book and I got a good copy 👍
For the price you’d expect better packaging. Quite frankly unacceptable
Luckily they ended up replacing it ;)
