I've lived in NJ all my life until 2012 and never realized you could stay in Lucy In the Elephant! I thought it was just a place to visit. Learn something new everyday.
Lucy the Elephant was my favorite beach attraction when I was little (in a jersey girl who takes a trip to the Jersey shore almost every year) I miss being able to go inside it as an attraction but it's still one of my favorites so glad they didn't tear it down like they said they would!!!
I urge any beasts interested in sustainability and responsible tourism to take a look at the economic/housing crisis that can be associated with Airbnb in local communities (including around tourist destinations). I did a whole debate on it in my sustainable tourism course in college. Its a very interesting hole to fall into if its something anyone else is interested in :)
I once traveled through Denmark/Nor/Sweden for a couple of month over ten years ago, still the best experience of my life. Been there many times since then. Do it, Rhett!!! 🤗
Rhett HAS to come to Norway! That would've been so awesome! That Birdbox is a couple hrs away from me 😩 Rhett would indeed look normal-ish, Norwegians are pretty tall 😂 I actually live in a pretty remote area, but kinda near a bigger town. Mountains and forests all over, few ppl. It's extremely calming and the drive to any other place is very chill. I'd recommend to visit Voss, especially in the summer! Or in the winter if ya wanna ski at one of the best resorts 🤗
I've never bought anything from you guys because overseas shipping is always crazy expensive, but with this giveaway t-shirt thing I just had to. Praying for The Golden Tee of Mythicality!!❤
I know the story of the potato!!! It was originally outside the Potato museum in Blackfoot, Idaho. I visited many times during elementary school, lol. I remember seeing it went on "tour" and was around the state. Now it became an Air B&B.wq
5:16 Normally, I'm on Rhett's side for just about every argument. The way he gets condescending and steals away from Link's victories is the only thing I don't like about Rhett.
9:50 Rhett was so shocked it was only $112 to stay in a cave… that seems ironic to me. I know this cave is “special” but imagine thinking $500 was a reasonable price to essentially camp 😂😂😂
Idk about that Norway one. “No running water” is definitely a dealbreaker for me. As for the other ones, I’d totally do it if I had the means to, except for the hobbit house; I agree with Rhett in that one and would rather go to New Zealand for that experience.
so obsessed with the big idaho potato, i visited it in january (did not stay, just took a photo with it and dolly the cow), and it was the best day of my life
Rhett! I don’t know what the odds of you seeing this comment is, but I am from Norway and if you do decide to go to Norway I recommend going in the fall, it’s just so beautiful when the leaves change colors and if you rent a cabin you could get cozy by the fireplace, maybe chill in a jacuzzi or indoor pool 😎 all of the above is nice in the winter time as well + you could ski if that floats your boat 😊 I recommend you go to Langedrag natur park, it’s like a zoo for Norwegian wildlife ( they live in their natural environment and is well taken care of ). + you can rent a cabin or hotel and enjoy the beautiful nature. I really think you would enjoy a trip here
They just unlocked a memory I forgot when I still lived in NJ as a kid I went inside of Lucy the elephant. It feels like a weird dream remembering it lol
Yes Atlantic City is part of the Jersey Shore! Also why is “Jersey Shore” funny?! Don’t insult Jerseyans now! We don’t take that lightly! 😂 Lucy the Elephant ❤️
Lucy is an air bnb!?!?! That’s gotta be a new thing. I love margate nj! Also, Rhett, you’ve been to AC much more recent than 2008! I just saw you both there a couple years ago!
Believe it or not there’s actually not a lot of “hobbit hole” style accommodation. Not even at Hobbiton (although Hobbiton is fantastic, I teared up there 😂). But I do recommend Underhill for a couple (not family).
The six private acres in Washington sells it, you can have a cocktail in the forrest without some ranger coming along and giving you a ticket and confiscating your good time.
I believe that North Central Washington has great scenery. If you visit, spend your time in the parks and mountains. Chelan and Douglas Counties are full of pleasant areas.
I think Washington is a beautiful place to live with majestic views. Orondo is along the Columbia River in North Central WA. Thanks for featuring the underground Hygge.
You really should go to Norway, Rhett! Very nice people, most of them speak English. Wonderful nature etc... The only thing is that it's expensive af, especially alcohol. 😩
Rhett saying "No, cause potatoes don't have windows" super casual hit me right in the funny bone
"Looks like a nugget"🍁 Rhett is always so funny under his breath 🤣
I thought it looked like a nug too lmao
@@green182dork93 he definitely said nug 🌿
@@iwanabeapiratear def looks like some of the nugs ive had in the past
i was hella weak
Rhett blazes??? 🤣 That's awesome
Link is a savant in this one area, which I love about him.
Link's expertise in this is so impressive. He's really observant and mindful of so many factors. I love watching him analyze each one.
It’s the first thing ive ever seen him be confident in his answers in
"Air BnT with Link Neal," the Air B and Truth. Damn, Link's great at this game!
Rhett: “looks like a little nug” 😂🍃
I came to say the same thing 😂😂😂
ONE OF US. ONE OF US

Didn’t know he was chill like that 😂
I frickin loved this More!! Y’all should do a series together of you 2 just talking about Airbnb
They have 10 years ago when GMM used to be good
I've lived in NJ all my life until 2012 and never realized you could stay in Lucy In the Elephant! I thought it was just a place to visit. Learn something new everyday.
I’m sad the guests don’t stay over to more that often anymore! I would of loved more time with Justin! He’s so funny!
The comment about France currency being the franc show Link's age. The Euro has been use for 20 years now. 😂
First Josh said that smørrebrød is swedish, and now Link said that hygge is swedish. My danish pride is hurt
From a Swede: I'm sorry. Idk why they always confuse any Nordic country with Sweden either lol. Guess it's an American thing.
oh the Swedes are just as offended to be mixed up with the Danes
Don't take hygge from us, it's our national pride. Hygge is Danish 😭🇩🇰
I just had to check for this in the comments... We need to have them visit Denmark so they can learn who we are 🇩🇰
omg, that's like saying swedish meatballs is danish. they should know ;D But we're just some random european countries, to them XD
" I have always wanted to stay in a cave house" - Rhett doing justice to his hair and caveman nature
That birdbox looks like a horror movie waiting to happen…😅
True, especially because it's so isolated and surrounded by never ending snow.
@@SweetTooth8989 Norwegian version of the Shining
I think I can speak on behalf of most kiwis when hearing New Zealand even being mentioned makes us feel good for some reason
Meanwhile all the Norwegians and Danes are shuddering from hearing Hygge being attributed to Sweden
I’m not even Kiwi but I spent four months in New Zealand and it being mentioned makes me feel good too. There’s something magic about that place.
kiwi here, and you are correct
Yep we actually do exist lol
I know no one is expected to know about the Jersey shore but Rhett asking if that’s where Atlantic City is made me laugh so hard
I am thinking he meant it as.. Is this near where the MTV show took place, or someplace like Cape May.
I would definitely watch Link reviewing Air BNBs
Link found his game🎉
Lucy the Elephant was my favorite beach attraction when I was little (in a jersey girl who takes a trip to the Jersey shore almost every year) I miss being able to go inside it as an attraction but it's still one of my favorites so glad they didn't tear it down like they said they would!!!
i had no idea they turned it into an airbnb but Lucy was a big part of my childhood, im so glad she’s still around!!
Link needs to have a series about Airbnbs!!!
My mother-in-law used to live down at the Jersey shore and volunteered at Lucy the Elephant's park and gift shop. Its a historical landmark.
I’d like if More could keep the images on screen when they are looking at it as well
Lol hotels clean?
This was such a fun episode! Loved seeing Link's Airbnb acumen. I'd watch more of GMM/Airbnb content.
2:41 No, as a New Jersey resident I do not consider Atlantic City part of the Jersey Shore.
I urge any beasts interested in sustainability and responsible tourism to take a look at the economic/housing crisis that can be associated with Airbnb in local communities (including around tourist destinations). I wanna learn more about this
Dang Link's eye for detail is impressive.
I'm catching up on More. Been tending to my 90 year old mom and haven't been able to enjoy much.
Rhett said "Looks like a nug". 🤪🤣🤣🤣
I once traveled through Denmark/Nor/Sweden for a couple of month over ten years ago, still the best experience of my life. Been there many times since then. Do it, Rhett!!! 🤗
That way he can also learn that hygge is, in fact, very Danish and not Swedish 😂
So Rhett and link just forgot that they've eaten guinea pig in the international street food dart game?
I thought for sure they had eaten some! I was so confused when they talked about it lol.
They don't remember 90% of what happens on the show
@@brucebonner3491 makes sense, it’s been a while they’ve been on the internet

Good Mythical Morning y'all. Can't wait for Mythicon!
You guys should do an episode where you do a field trip to Airbnb's or luxury house or something of that sort.
Lucy the elephant! Used to be a tourist attraction you could walk through. And yes Atlantic City is the jersey shore😅

Hello from New Zealand!! Rhett's right about the cost of living though lol
Potatoes don’t have windows but they do have 👀
AirBNT would be the equivalent of One Bite Pizza Reviews. It would be a HUGE hit and crazy helpful.
Did rhett just say it looks like a lil nug? Omg 😂
Air BnTea, cuz you are spilling the tea on those listings
9:50 Rhett was so shocked it was only $112 to stay in a cave… that seems ironic to me. I know this cave is “special” but imagine thinking $500 was a reasonable price to essentially camp 😂😂😂
It's probably closer to 500 with all the fees they tack on... They should've done what the REAL cost would be.
I'm glad I can afford to stay in a potato and an elephant. I love staying in unique places like this if it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Oh Rhett, you are welcome to visit Norway any time!
And you are absolutely right, you would blend right in.
Link is very welcome too of course. 🥰🥰
Man the guinea pig disrespect is something i did not see coming from this channel
If I stayed in the elephant, it would be so hard to not start singing the Elephant Love Medley from Moulin Rouge.
we need to have an air bnb game this season so link can win something and doesn't have to use his arm
