- Like most artists, and people ultimately, I wake up every morning to an inner consciousness of fears, doubts, anxieties, self deprecations, low energy, and an endless list of mental bullshit. I spent 5 years listening to it and suppressing my creativity. I had to start to combat these mental insecurities with affirmations, and to be honest, most times I don't truly believe in those affirmations. But I'm learning that the habitual nature of telling yourself you're worth it creates a layer of confidence that is beyond necessary to reach your full potential. People should see the process, the low points and the struggle of strengthening the mind to believe in something bigger. So I've decided to share some of my creative process in this Practice Room Series! I think it's important to know how things progress and to be proud and comfortable sharing that with people:) if you're an artist struggling with self doubt hopefully this concept can help you become aware of some of the limits or fears that are controlling your individual process. The more you can free the mind the more you can inspire & change. :)))
