Hello. Thank you for stopping by my channel. I went a family camping. I brought my travel spinning rod in a bag and tried my luck in the morning with Keitech Swing Impact Fat Nail rig. A good one came! Hope you enjoy the video.
Very interesting technique!! Very weedless and more natural looking than a jig head or bullet weight!! Thank you for the tips and videos as always!! Tight lines…..
Reins makes micro tungstens that work great in these guys, the 2.8s have little spots for nail weights to go in them vertically on either side of the hook, that make the bait movement very stable and subtle in clear water!
In some old videos, you can see my BFS setups. It looks cool, but IMO, spinning tackles can be much more versatile for the finesse fishing. Thank you for the comment.
@@WesV the idea is that baitcasting gear is much more accurate and can cast in tighter spaces. In theory you should be able to cast further that UL spinning gear with BFS oriented casting gear. I find it quite fun to cast vs spinning setups once you get the hang of it. Downsides are you run the risk of over runs with your spool, there is a bit of a learning curve, and there is somewhat of a diminishing returns in casting distance with lures around the 1g weight. Of course… there is the same weight limitation with spinning gear. Anyhow, just my thoughts. Cheers!
@@WesV I’ve been using spinning gear almost my entire life, I’m in my 40s now, and I still don’t have the skill to keep my casts accurate enough to keep my lure within a 10ft diameter if I’m trying for distance. Maybe it’s just me haha… with bfs gear I can cast just as far and I am much more accurate and I find it much more enjoyable than using my spinning setups. Can’t tell you why it’s more “fun” to use but imho it just is. Anyhow… just my 2 cents! Cheers!

Nice weedless setup. Great tip, I've only seen them put in the head of the plastic.
Yes, Nail weight can be utilized this way, too! Thank you for watching, sir! 👍

@@AnglerWaki spinning is definitely easier to use and less issues than baitcasting for sure!
@@BFSFISHINGCHANNEL i fail to see the advantage of bfs gear over light tackle spinning gear, am i missing something?

How heavy nail weght are you using
I did not care but the smallest one I had at that time :P maybe 1/32 or 1/48.
What is the point of a nail rig if you throw it for 3-10 meters anyway? Thanks.
sinking.
@@AnglerWaki I see. Thanks.
