Pencott has some of the best camo designs in the game IMO. Think I'll try these out, as they're available stateside and on Amazon no less.

Agreed. I'm a huge fan of Pencott. It's a brilliant colour match for the Moorlands
I've had mine for about half a year, they're absolutely amazing to walk with, they fit so nicely, they don't annoy you by clinging onto you by sweating. They're extremely well designed for military purposes, and their "dump pouch" pockets function really well for snacks along the way, if they're not filled with some empty mags.
I had some issues with the front zipper pockets though, if you do put your phone in there depending on the phone size, remember to hit the correct pocket ;)
Another issue at hand, also related to the pocket zippers if you do military stuff, the zippers do tend to make some noise or irritate when running/walking.
But overall, very well designed pants, good for field work, good for hikes and everything else. I hope to see Direct Action produce more uniform based clothing in the near future.

I had so much hype when this pant was introduced but after they released the price I think will stick to to MCDU pant 😅
Interesting first because I didn't know at all these brand and sister of Helikon-Tex
... but I will probably not go with these because maybe too tactical and so I prefer to stay with the bushcraft and urban lines from Helikon-Tex
I also think that for real professionals and it is not only for Direct Action it can be better to return with 'old fashioned more durable and less noisy ... buttons" :) (velcros are so so for durability and quiet movements)
Штаны не боевые. Как походные в лесной местности без большого перепада высот или городские в милитаре стиле хорошо зайдут. Но в условиях огневого контакта эти брюки непременимы. Вся вот эта лишняя ткань на карманах в области бёдер и голеней осложняет быстрое наложение жгута, а в случае если ещё в карманах понапихано всякого то вообще всё плохо. К томуже ткань из нейлона и эластана легко плавится и горит. Шуршат громко. Нет защиты задницы от протирания. В общем красиво сделано, но не применимо.

The weather here has improved. The 100°F plus, days have passed. Mid 90's now. Much better.😎

They are definitely worth the step up in price for sure. There's 100% a step up in quality... Is it double the price/double the step up I'm not 100% sure. Hope that makes sense
