      Thank you so much for making this video!!!! I've been sick for the last couple of weeks and thinking it was something in the house. Could not pinpoint anything, until watching this video, I decided to call the Hvac guy and have the evaporator coil checked. Sure enough the coils were covered in mold. I had the whole system replaced. I had thought about the Hvac, but always thought it "cleaned" itself and I change the filters regularly. Live and learn, sometime the hard way.

      What it does is it kills any growing mold & bacteria thus cleaning and allowing it to operate more efficiently Steve. Hope this helps, and you're right, I don't like cold weather :) LOL Thanks for the view my friend, hope you have a fantastic day. mad Mike the hammer SPC

    What if you have a older car without the recycle option in your car

    • @MrZorbatron
      @MrZorbatron Год назад +2

      MAX A/C is recirculate. That's actually the difference between "A/C Normal" and "A/C Max" on older cars, and it's the only difference. In fact, the "Normal" setting will cool your car faster if the air outside is cooler than the air inside the car. The only thing that makes "Max" cool better, is the assumption that the air inside the car is already cooler than the air outside.
      For a little extra trivia for you, the Recirculation and Max modes actually do still bring in about 15-20% outside air.

    • @andrewpolasek5524
      @andrewpolasek5524 Год назад +1

      If your car's AC has a MAX setting, that is same as recycle.

    Good video Mike! I've been doing this for years not only for my vehicles (including my RV), but in rooms of my house where there's been pets or musty smells from being closed up. NOTE: Ozone is EXTREMELY TOXIC to breathe in. Treated areas should be aired out completely (for at least a few hours) before use. Maybe include this as a warning in the tools? EDIT: If needed, don't forget to replace the cabin filter first. Thanks, and keep the knowledge coming!

    If I can make a humble suggestion brother Mike… since ozone generators produce O3 (ozone) from diatomic element O2 (oxygen), it must have access to external air (O2 source) in order for it to function optimally.. this is a big misconception people often have and wrongfully execute upon, when using ozone machines in inclosed spaces.. you must connect a tube to the intake blower fan on the machines rear end, and extend it outside the vehicle while all other opening spaces are sealed.. THEN- turn it on with vehicle AC set on internal circulation.. if you do not do the above, all diatomic oxygen molecules inside the vehicle will be exhausted leaving nothing left for the machine to continuously reconstitute to O3 (ozone)
