Yes, it's really your choice! I felt the servo was a bit slow, and the stock wheels exploded last December, so I ended up upgrading them. Take care! 👊👍😎
Hi. With gas, you can determine in the air how the car will land. That's why your car overturns because you release the gas. The wheels are like a flywheel.
Did you order the 270 or 180 degree servo? New to the RC world and bought a granite. Love it so far. But want to a few things with me when it does break.
I just tried to do the same upgrade with my Granite...you kind of glossed over a really important detail beyond the tooth count, which is that the arm/horn the servo comes with WILL NOT FIT within the Granite's mounting box. So unless you're planning on breaking out the dremel and hacking away at your mounting box structure, don't buy this servo. Really disappointed this was not highlighted/shown in the video. I'm returning mine.
Wish you would have shown how to set up the servo for making sure the horn is set to centre 0° before left or right motion. I just got a 25kg and want to install it in my Granite but i don’t know how to make sure everything is at centre before putting on the horn.
Sorry dude! I actually tried filming that part but found it too hard to center the steering and film at the same time. There are lots of tutorials online for how to center steering, so maybe those will help. Thanks for the feedback! 👍
Hey man. I have this in 25 kg. And gonna use it on my granite. The orginal is broken. But do I need a new servo saver? I bought one in case. But do I need it? Great channel
I put that same servo, did what you did and it worked for like 5 seconds and now It wont steer anymore. It's like binding and wont steer at all. Any reason why?
Not sure, the servo saver might've fallen off. Did you make sure to install the metal one it comes with? Off camera, we tried using one of the plastic ones, but it constantly was falling off. Hope this helps! 👍
@@airbornerc4654 yep, it's on there. Did not fall off and now it turns left and stays stuck left, it doesn't find center. It also wont turn right at all. And yes I used the metal servo horn it came with

What did you end up sanding down? I’m installing a 25KG in my granite and when using the included 25T horn I noticed a 4mm difference from the drag link too the steering, not sure if the screw will work now. Did you have same issue or did you sand the top of your horn down ?
It's actually held up really well, though recently a screw came loose and I lost a couple of parts to it, but that was my fault, since I didn't assemble it completely correctly in the beginning. Hope this helped! 👍

Well, what's great about the upgrade servo's saver it comes with is that it's actually metal, and it is fully adjustable, so we most likely won't switch it out for a new servo since it works so well. Thanks for watching! 👊👍
No issues at all! It performs so good and is really durable. It will work for v1 and v2 models, just make sure you shave down that servo horn like we did, or buy a different horn with the right size spline. Thanks for watching 😉👍
