Thank you for your informative video! I utterly agree on most of what you discussed, but the question here, and I know it has been while since you made this video, why did you use an Indian music for the background instead of an Egyptian one?
Thank you ☺️ the account where we get our music from has songs divided by genre and countries. All these songs were under Egypt 😳
I’m planning a to go to egypt in December and stay in giza for of course the pyramids views with my friend, both females! Thank you for this tip. Would you mind sharing your tour guide information?
Our suggestion is start booking now because December is peak season due to the weather. We got all our tours/guides on TripAdvisor 🙂 there we were able to chose our language of preferences. We don’t have direct contact numbers with any 🥹 but there’s so many to chose from and they have reviews to help you pick. Viator is also good for tours
Hurghada is Egypt's oldest and most famous resort. Offshore is the colorful and bizarre Red Sea world of coral and fish life that first brought Hurghada to worldwide attention, while back on solid ground, the once tiny fishing settlement has mushroomed into a resort city catering directly to tourism.
Thank you for that information 🙏🏻 We wished we had more time to see more of Hurghada. That only means we have to go back lol
Hello, can i talk with you on private ?
Great video with lovely cinematic shots
WELCOME TO EGYPT : )
Thank you ☺️ beautiful country 🙌🏻
I am Egyptian
How cool 😄
I'm going in May which hotel is to avoid
How exciting. Don’t stay in Marvel Stone or any other hotels in the Giza complex
@@TwinTravel03 mena house hotel is pretty good .
U should try it next time
We wanted to stay there so bad but it was close to $600 a night because of the holidays 🥲
@@TwinTravel03
So unlucky
In ordinary days , it's about 150$ average a night.
Smoking is injurious for health.
Egypt is such a beautiful place! And have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel?
I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane.
It really is. We don’t like using duffle bags because they can get heavy so we rather roll the luggage lol Omg those are expensive 😱 but it looks like they’re def worth the price
This is 🔥🔥🔥 great video!!! Makes me wanna go today lol!
Thank you so much ☺️❤️ we wish we could go back!! ✨
Hey, do you like visit my country ?
I am curious about the tipping. like what is the fair amount of money to tip the waiter or driver?
Honestly we don’t know lol we would ask the tour guide what was a good amount but we never tipped high because we felt the taxis would take advantage of the tipping
Please share the contact of your lady tour guide.
Hi 🙂 we booked all our tours through TripAdvisor. We don’t have direct contacts because they assign you who they have available. The lady has an Instagram but her page is private and she didn’t even accept us as friends lol
Thank you so much for sharing your tips and experience! You two are so adorable and enjoyable to watch. 💕 I’m so glad you had a great time- minus your Giza hiccup. I would recommend staying at a high end resort there or if you’re on a budget, there are some fabulous Airbnb’s with pyramid views for an affordable price. Some are actually ran by tour guides so they even plug you to excursions and you have a local resource on the ground. Looking forward to your future trips! Blessed travels 🪬💫
Thank you 💖💖 yes for sure next time we visit, we’re not going during the holidays so that we can afford the Marriott lol it was so hard finding something to book and we got stuck with what was available 😫
Just got back from CAIRO on Sunday. We stayed at RAMSES HILTON. Everything was outstanding!.. facility, wifi, food, executive lounge.
Nice!! I’m so happy your stay was amazing! We’ll make a note of that hotel for next time lol
When I went to Egypt I took Egypt Air from NYC to Cairo direct, it took about 8 hours I believe. It might be easier than the Dubai connection. Great Vlog
You’re so lucky!!! Yea flying from California is long and expensive! Thank you for the tip 🙏🏻☺️
@@TwinTravel03 I live in Maryland, so getting to New York was no big deal. There's a few direct flights to Cairo every week from JKF.
i can never find info on Tour Guide Fees...just for the whole duration at the Pyramids or maybe even an entire day's fee in Cairo...appreciate your input!
We usually use TripAdvisor or Viator website and it usually states on there what’s included and what’s not. So if there’s extra fees to pay I always ask beforehand to know how much to take or to expect. We also go online to find the pricing for the museums or places we’re visiting. For Egypt make sure you have their currency because they don’t accept any other type of currency. If you’re booking with your hotel, they usually have the breakdown of the costs so that’s also another route to go. But always remember that the tour guides fee isn’t included so they will be expecting a tip at the end 🙂
I saw your video at the right time. I just cancelled my hotel in Giza for my upcoming trip after seeing your video. 😂
Awesome tips ladies
Trust me you’ll see what we’re talking about when you are there 😭😭😭 but either way we hope you have an amazing trip! Egypt is truly a gem 🙌🏻
Did you pick your tour guides in advance?
Yes we booked them about a month in advanced on TripAdvisor :)
My friend and I will be traveling to Egypt in November with an Australian tour company. This video was very informative. Loved it 😁
We hope you have an amazing time and the weather will be perfect 😄👌🏼
Thank you for sharing. Can you please share which travel company you used?
Hi we used Viator ☺️ we have the tours on the bio. Thank you so much for watching 🙌🏻
Thanks for the info. & tips. Great video. You’re both so pretty!
Thank you so much ☺️ 🫶🏼
Amazing video
I'm doing this itinerary but with Sharm el sheikh instead of H. ❤
Thank you ☺️ Have an amazing time!! We want to visit Sharm el Sheikh one day 🙏🏻✨
@@TwinTravel03 Yes you will 😀
When you go Sharm, they do a tour to Petra. I'm goin with my mom so I'm worried I packed in too much in the itinery but I split the days up so she can rest from the tours ! I still have 1 more flight to go 🥴. Mom cant do the coaches but I cant come back to Egypt for atleast 5 years so that's why I'm squeezing it all in
Nice! Petra, Jordan? For Petra plz exercise if you don’t already do. Or just go for a walk everyday to condition your body. It’s a tough hike 🥵 the next day your whole body will be sore specially your calves lol honestly that’s how we do our trips lol we pack as much as we can in a few days
@@TwinTravel03 Thank you
Sorry one more question.
Do they allow people to rest in some spots if they cant walk on ?
At Petra or in Egypt? Both have places to rest. At Petra there’s plenty of places to rest when you’re going up the steps. It’s 800 steps but you go on your own and at your own pace. There’s horses and donkeys available to help you go up but I don’t recommend ☹️ they get treated bad. Just drink a lot of water it’s so hot there.
What! $1980?? Flights alone for me are about $1300 the cheapest I've seen , and guides, excursions etc, want about$1600
Yes and our flights were $1110 that included (Los Angeles, Cairo and Dubai). Our tours and hotels were reasonable. We got our tours on Trip Advisor. We didn’t include the souvenirs on the whole price but we did pretty good considering a short stay in Egypt.
I also apologize on everyone's behalf, for the mishaps you had to go through over there, but I'm also happy that you've had a good overall outcome!
No need to apologize it happens. We have learned to let those things go and keep enjoying the trip. We still had the time of our lives ✨🙏🏻
OMG me and my daughter is headed to Giza staying by the Pyramids .Please what hoyel was it 😇
It’s called the Marvel Stone Hotel 🥹 I hope it’s not this one
So beautiful. I love mystical Egypt. full of historical depth
Yes! There’s so much to see and so little time 🥲
You girls would loooove Istanbul , Bodrum, Izmir, the food is delicioussss , it's very very clean and much more developed than Cairo...Women are never treated disrespectfully, especially if you are a tourist! Cause great hospitality means, for you to have a great experience... Belly dancers are also Turkish, not Russian or from another country as was the lady on the cruise... : ) For sure pyramids are unique, but as a country receiving alot of tourists from all over the world, they need to be more educated and treat people with respect to gain more positive reviews...
We agree 💯 percent! The hospitality makes the experience that much greater. Turkey is on our bucket list!! We just have to find an affordable month to go because it’s pricey from California 🥹
I’m travelling to Egypt as a woman solo traveller in September could you please let me know the name of the hotel you do no recommended
How exciting!! We stayed at the Marvel Stone Hotel…don’t stay there lol We would recommend staying near the pyramids but not in the hotels by the complex.
@@TwinTravel03 thank you
What hotel was terrible? What tour guide do you recommend?
It was The Marvel Stone..don’t stay there or anywhere in the pyramid complex. We got our tour with Viator ☺️ the link is in the bio of this video but overall we liked the tour. To go into the pyramid is an extra cost so that’s not included in any tour
What a great video! So helpful! I am going to Egypt next month, and wondered what size luggage did you both have along with you? Would you suggest a medium size suitcase as it's easier to travel to different areas. I will be there for 2 weeks, but wonder if packing light is best!??
Thank you so much ☺️ we took a medium size luggage so I think it’s the 24”-26”inch plus a backpack each. It was easy to move from place to place with that luggage since it fit in everyone’s trunk.
We also carry a small detergent to hand wash and hang lol
Thank you so much! 💐
I worry that a medium suitcase is really best for a week trip...But I guess I need to pack smarter?! 😊
Very awesome candid and helpful tips!
Thank you ☺️🤗
Very awesome candid and helpful tips!
Thank You ☺️🤗
I would like to know the name of that hotel in Giza because I was considering what solo travel might be like there.
It’s The Marvel Stone Hotel but if you want to stay in the complex, try The Guardian House. That one is popular on IG and cheaper. When we went that one was sold out completely
@@TwinTravel03: Thank you so much.
That's crazy...considering how low the salaries are in Egypt. That live on 128 USD a month. I'm an actress and I will go to Egypt with a job. They can't pay the crew more than 400-500 usd a month and that's because we are foreigners.
Thank you
So hotel Giza is not safe for women..
It’s safe if you’re staying at a big chain hotel nearby or other hotels. We don’t recommend the ones in the complex
Awesome video! An American Egyptian here ,lives in Ohio! Planning on being there very soon! Haven't been there since 2008 , hope you enjoyed it there... keep up the great work!
Thank you so much ☺️ oh wow that’s been a while!! I’m sure so much has changed since then. Have a great time when you return 🙏🏻
@@TwinTravel03 thank you , the US is more home to me than Egypt ever been, funny, isn't it? Lol
Hi ladies what’s the restaurant at 0:08?
That was the rooftop at the hotel. They had dancers and did a dinner buffet for NYE but I don’t recommend eating there even on a regular day!!
Hi me and my best friend are going to Egypt in a few weeks and of course we want the iconic view of the pyramids of Giza from our room. However, I never considered what you guys experienced. Could you guys please let me know the name of the hotel you guys stayed in, in Cairo. Im actually really worried now!
Hi, how exciting!! Plz don’t let our experience turn you away from checking out other hotels. I’m sure there’s other hotels who provide better service. We stayed at the Marvel Stone Hotel. If you can afford it stay at the Marriott Mena House or the Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo. We couldn’t stay there because the prices were ridiculous and majority of the hotels were sold out.
Hey, you can come visit Tunisia, you will be have good experience and new culture of here
@@hamadaselmi5502 I would love to go to Tunisia. I want to visit the North Africa American cemetery.
What is the guide name/phone no?
Hi all the guides were different and are in different locations. We got them through TripAdvisor 😄 we don’t have direct contacts :(
Hi , your information was great , please do tell me which hotels to pass . I am in the process of booking my trip as a solo to egypt.
Thank you 🙂 when visiting the pyramids and you want to stay in Giza, avoid the hotels that are right in the complex. If it’s a big chain hotel then You’re good. The hotels glorify the rooftop views which are great but the quality of hotels and the outside is bad. Avoid the Marvel Stone Hotel
Thank-you for your information. One of the best Egypt on a Budget info videos. You ladies rock
Thank you so much ☺️
1980 each ? Or for both ?
Each but these are peak prices during the holidays 🙂 so it’s cheaper when it’s not peak season
How much do you usually tip in egypt?
Honestly, we would leave $2-$3 US dollars but in Egyptian pounds. Some said it was a lot and others would say it was too little. But I left like ugh having to tip for everything
@@TwinTravel03 thank you! 👍😆

No, they’re twins
hello! Thank you for the blog ♥ Im going to Egypt next month and wanted to know what tour company you used? Ive been trying to find a good one. There are soooooo many lol
We got ours with TripAdvisor and yes there’s so many lol the tour places we chose were Nice Tours and Let’s Explore Egypt tours
THANK YOU for telling it as it is regarding Giza. I'm here right now and it is the dirtiest most disgusting city I've ever experienced! Garbage everywhere, shysters trying to take advantage of tourists, GTA driving, constant noise, stray dogs everywhere, people literally sifting through garbage and even eating it. And BTW, they treat everyone the way you were treated. Don't even stay in Giza - just drive by on the way to Luxor or Hurghada.
Yes sadly it’s the reality and it sucks because we spent so much money but it’s a lesson learned. Everyone who has reached out with questions we tell them to stay away from that area
Hi girls, question for you; you talked about weak WiFi in Egypt. Is it weak even when you purchase the strongest package from TMobile for example? Thank you in advanced, love your videos!
Hi Olga 🙂 We honestly don’t know if that would work. But I think instead of paying more for your bill, you should try and get a SIM card at the airport cause it’ll be cheaper. I’ve seen videos where ppl get there’s there and it works. For us it’s not a big deal to have service so we used the service whenever we had it lol
Hello! Bathroom question...was it difficult to find a Bathroom when needed since everything is far apart? Going in January! Very excited!
Good question lol yes! There’s bathrooms everywhere except for the Hot Air Balloon rides. If you’re planning on doing it plz use the restroom before getting on. Ask your tour guides where you can go. How exciting!! You’re going during the most perfect weather 🙌🏻
Thank you so much for your video I’m planning on traveling there with my sister too and we were wondering, what doy you think of the Ramses hilton hotel ? Would it be safe?
Thanks in advance ❤️
Thank you ☺️ yes in our opinion you’re safe in any big chain hotel. We should’ve thought of that when we went ☹️ but you live and you learn lol
This is the first time seeing you and just subscribed All Love from EGYPT❤
Thank you so much ☺️ such a beautiful country ✨
OK, leaving for egypt in October '22, what not to stay hotel are you referring to? we plan on seeing Giza!!
There’s many hotels & air bnbs in Giza but we recommend staying in a good chain hotel because the hotels in front of the complex are not that safe and the area is not the best.
Great video, what is the name of the hotel you stayed at in Giza?
Thank you! The hotel was Marvel Stone Hotel
@@TwinTravel03 Thank you! I’ll be traveling to Egypt next month and Hurghada or Luxor seems like the safest place to stay.
There’s many hotels in Cairo that your tours can take you to Giza. We tried the Le Meridien at the Cairo Airport we did a small short on it 🙂
Im from egypt and im so proud!!i live in cairo! Welcome to my countryy ( they need tips because money is hard not many people make enough money )
Thank you ☺️ we loved Egypt! We hope to return one day again 🙏🏻❤️
Why do you have two different currencies for the admission fees? it should be in EGP or USD
To show how much it is in Egyptian pounds and US dollars. They take Egyptian pounds only but we wanted to show how much you’re paying in US dollars 🙂

Where did you get a covid test in order to come back to LA?
We went from Cairo to Dubai and in Dubai we took the test to come back to LA. But the Covid test in Egypt, the tour guide took us to get it the day before leaving to Dubai at a lab in Cairo. Ask the hotel too if they offer the tests. Ours didn’t offer it that’s why we went somewhere else. But usually known hotel chains carry the tests in the hotel

Such a nice video. We're planning to go to Egypt in October this year .we're basically going to cairo and sharm e shiekh. Shall we plan to go to luxor what's your take on that thanks
Thank you ☺️ nice! We heard Sharm El-Sheikh is so beautiful!! Yes! Plz visit Luxor. There’s so much history and there’s more to see there than Cairo. Us personally, would only stay there two days, one night to see everything. You have to do the hot air balloon over valley of the kings it’s a beautiful experience 🙏🏻
@@TwinTravel03 Thanks for reply because we're planning so we're watching lots of videos. Some of videos puts us off because lots of scams bad management lots of unnecessary checks. Do we need to pay for covid test in cairo airport. When ever you plan to come to London be ours guest thanks
Honestly, book your trips with trusted websites. We booked our tours with TripAdvisor and Viator and didn’t have any issues. We found that better than with booking with the hotel. The hotels find their ways to make money off of the tourist and sometimes seem like a scam. Luxor is rich in history and their temples are gorgeous. You need to catch King Tut and the tombs. If we were to stay in a hotel we would’ve gone with the Hilton Luxor Resort and it’s next to the Nile river. Luxor is very poor but the temples and hot air balloon make it worth it. You don’t need Covid test to fly within Egypt. It’s only when coming in from your country and make sure it has a QR code or if you’re vaccinated that works. Leaving Cairo we got our Covid test with the tour guide, she took us to a lab. But I’m sure you can find a test at the airport since the pandemic died down a little. Thank you 🙏🏻
@@TwinTravel03 Thank you so much for such nice advice and your precious time God keeps your whole family happy and prosperous thanks

Hola muchachas, vamos a Egipto en noviembre, podrian recomendar algun guia/tours,precios? Muchas gracias!
Where did you stay in Giza? So we know to stay away! How did you get a travel guide? Thanks
We stayed right in the front of the pyramids and the hotels name is “marvel stone” don’t stay there. Our advice is choose another hotel in Giza and preferably a known chain hotel. We got our tours through TripAdvisor but we created our own travel guide
This was very informative. I noticed you weren't wearing masks, is the country "covid-safe"?
Thank you so much. That’s something we noticed too that no one wears masks at all. We didn’t hear anything about Covid or restrictions. The only place it’s enforced is at the airport. It’s pretty much up to the tourist whether they want wear it or not. But yes it’s safe 🙂
