Training consciously and knowing that we never do anything perfect is what allows us to improve.

Mikhail Ryabko is a great one for telling his students, "don't feel sorry for yourselves", this is usually when the training is very uncomfortable. For anyone going through difficulty, and this does not have to be combat or military related, this is a key factor in getting through successfully.

My apologies on the sound. I am teaching, hence talking to the class, and am not paying enough attention to talking for the camera.

Amazing. Now I see why studying the sword is valuable despite it being an impractical defensive weapon today.

Lol @ the red pill analogy.
This was very enjoyable, I will try bringing the sword to my hand and drop unnecessary motions. This will help me continue to zero in on better mechanics, thanks for the lesson!

Again the audio made it very difficult for me, a non english speaking person, but what I actually listened to was amazing, I wish I could be his student.

Is there a place to get more of these videos? I've bought some of his nami ryu instructional videos, but I'd really like to get my hands on a continuation of this video and more like it. I really value these lessons.

Daniele it is extremely difficult to tell what is actually happening without hands on feeling it. The access of the body is different and unique and cannot be seen from the outside.

Is there a place where I can get these seminars on dvd? These are thoughts I have had for many years. It's too bad that those with victim mentality don't watch these.

But if I don't sit around feeling sorry for myself, how do I blame my shortcomings on others? I won't make a very good victim if I keep watching your videos, sir. Sarcasm off. By the way, we love your flashlights and are keeping an eye out for your video on flashlights for self defense.
