I first heard this song in the 1960s, in Canada. Never had a clue what it was about, besides the obvious, til tonight, November 11th, Remembrance Day, 2020 during the covid-19 pandemic!
This version goes deeper into the somber suffering that all must feel, at times, when they find themselves trapped in awful conditions.
Especially when they landed there for a cause - Nelson Mandela fighting apartheid, all the heroes and heroines, down through the ages, echoing through this haunting sound.
An incredible version of this old song with superb voices and beautiful harmonies. We have spent the evening listening to this over and over.

I don't even know what to say. If you three did an album tomorrow, I'd be preordering it today. And What a brilliant idea to record it on locarion like that. You know what I'd pay big bucks for, and I suspect a lot of others would too? A film with you three performing in wild(iish) places like that around Ireland. You could film it one piece at a time -- go somewhere anrd do one number plus a quick chat on the location. When you get enough of them, film a tiny bit of intro, closing and transition sitting on some bench outdoors . It would be brilliant.
