I don't normally go for the meta build of the league, but I jumped on the totem explode as a chieftain and I've never had more fun playing Path of Exile in 2200 hours. I can't recommend it enough.

I've always wanted to play something that actually summons totems with mines/traps
Does the Ngamahu, Flames Advance from Chieftain ascendancy work on the totem explosion damage? Chain Reaction from Saboteur affect the explosion area? So many doubts about this.

FYI, the mods stack, so if you get the 600% explody mod on two The Redblade Gladius'es and dual wield them, totems will explody with 1200%, but GL, price already skyrocketed to double digit divines for Redblade Gladius with an explody mod :P
although if your doing the cheap poison setup that handles all content in the game fine you really dont need it. just a bow with the node puts you close to the dot cap lol

Whats the difference if i want to get a weapon with t5 mod, its a same procces or different?
Same process, just another step involved. Just start with the T5.
EK has a high added damage effectiveness so the PoB calcs will be wrong
When I theory crafted my ignite and poison versions a couple weeks ago I used level 1 lightning tendrils as it has an added damage effectiveness of 100%
people play element / chaos as extra dmg with poison . or cold convert heatshiver . but poison prolif is nice to have on this with the IMMACULATE DMG , like wtf

Abyssal life stacker could scale the explosions. Just take captain lance’s setup and swap rathpith globe and the wand with a staff and go ham. I guess you wouldn’t need to life stack specifically (because no rathpith) but abyssal stacking would work well to scale the phys damage of the explosions. Fuck you could just put the staff on switch. The abyssal helmet helps with clear. It’s not a good idea. For sure. Don’t do it.
Would bleed bow totem explosion work?
I kinda think you can, but i guess it's bad idea because you can only get 8 bleeds on target (with notable) and you have 20 explosions so you lose a lot of damage, tho someone with more knowledge might know better
Imagine if this could be combined with hexbloom explosions. 🤤
And why can't it? Just go witch and find anything to convert physical dmg to chaos. You could also do poison instead of conversion, but the enemies would probably die before the dot triggers, so conversion is safer.

explosive arrow balista totem is insane with a witch elementalist
Pretty strong even after some changes over a couple of leagues.
Insane would be talking bout something like a PF running 60% flask effect, getting 100% life recoup, poison prolif as hard as an Elementalist's ignite, brings more single target DPS due to infinite poison stacking and Temp chain being OP, run Divine Flesh or Melding plus 100% phys to ele taken while 3 elemental flasks have 100% uptime.
Flask reduced mana cost and some gem support combo for a free aura without being EB. Imagine doing more dmg, same prolif, more utility, speed and take Uber Shaper Slam like it's a freaking joke. That's what we call insane, or some call it unethical. However, I like piecing together unethical builds and there are at least 3 this league due to crucible mod that I want to work on.

Seismic trap tribute build
There is one 1 handed sword that gets the 600%. Dual wield those and get 1200%.
Found in POE Trade.
That item is 28div per sword. Let's just pretend that didn't exist

can you not go phys to cold and heatshiver and then ignite prolif, should be prty beefy ignites
Ignite being a dot has dmg cap, so you'll just warstw dmg that way. Also cold will freeze enemy with this dmg. So I don't swe a reason to go ignite.

If you could do poison with the converted dmg instead of ignite, that sounds like a prty insane build
Yes - the Assassin version can hit 1b DPS, but you don't scale ignite. Just flat phys and elemental damage.
@@Nstromzz poison also has a cap, instead just abuse the % chance, use heatshiver anyways, with phys to cold, and freeze AND ignite with nuts amount of gain damage already :)

And then we have Phantasmal Decoy Totem, which gains only 2% of life as phys explosion per 1% qual.
Which is only 200% with 100% qual.
The question here is: can it be stacked with crucible node?
Yes
Problem with decoy totem is it has a cooldown though so it is arguably the worst totem to use for this.
Imagine that, a new build that does damage makes people excited to play the game. Who could have known.

Now that the streamers are hopping on GGG is going to giga nerf this. I had a couple days to play it and made like 50c on it lol my RNG is shit.

@@at0mic109 It feels like it. I just had my first raw div drop in about 50 maps. Otherwise 2 exalt drops, worth 15c each, a tabula, and a couple 5-10c div cards. I've got a 5c dump tab that I've sold like 2 things out of. I haven't had any good uniques or anything worth more than 1c drop. It's been god fucking awful. I mean, I've got some essences I could spend 1-2 hours pricing and selling, but hardly a major stockpile.
GGG won't nerf this during the league and it's totally gone next league since it's only from crucible. So enjoy it now
@@Genemesis doubt. It’ll trivialize the hcssfr race. Chris’s baby. He doesn’t want someone clearing it on a four link because that’s all you need along with any weapon with this node on it to do 5m dps with nothing else equipped.
