It’s a hip throw you learn in first month white belt it’s perfectly legal lol. Altitude isn’t relevant unless he stops the motion . there’s 3 or 4 officials 5 feet away who could of got him dq … Jesus fuk it’s the highest level of a martial art of course violent scary things can happen
@@user-vc6what hip throw bro? I'm talking the mat return where the other guy had his arm trapped and he landed on his head/neck. It is illegal by ibjjf rulebook.
Yep how trash of a person does he have to be to do that? He definitely knows the rules too. He has zero empathy and only cares about winning. Typical one dimensional meathead.
@@froggy3496 @user-vc6 is either on drugs or watched something else before commenting. He made the guy land smackdab onto his mutherclucking neck! Illegal or not, if you are fine with paralyzing people for a useless belt, you are a piece of crap. In this case, the apple does not fall too far from the tree.
As I explained above Im like 95 % sure it’s ibjjf legal unless you particularly point out the rule I missed reading ( it’s not a slam or spike he lands on his upper back shoulder in stacks via momentum. If he was fully stacked then brought down it’s different. All spike dqs come pre stacked postions ) … keep in mind the ref mat marshal n judges all have say - and all usually are black belts themselves or at minimum one of them. Yet none took issue nor did the competitor n coach post match . This type of shiet happens on the competition mats all the time. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills when see these comments complaining about dqs over soft stuff competitors don’t care about .. ie heavy collars clubs hard boarder line slam takedowns fast n hard submissions etc what high level competitor openly complains about this stuff ?
1:45 I didn’t like that mat return at all, looks like he could’ve severely damaged the guy’s spine and/or neck, I can’t see why it was necessary to slam him in that position
Leg attacks are less entertaining than chokes, arm attacks, etc. just seems so far away from a real self defense but I get it that’s the progression of jiu jitsu
The leg attack defense is insane he looks so calm
Nasty move, he nearly broke that first opponents neck. Would rather have seen him disqualified at that point. Hate the video edits in his matches!
Its legal i guess

Why the disrespect in the first match of the absolute. Please be respectful even if you are way better
Is it just me…or do both of them just give bad vibes…
A few years ago I got to see him roll with my dad I was 18 and my dad was 49 and he beat my dad's ass. Very cool cat awesome to see him do so well.
You always hear the Pedigo “heyyyyyy” in the background at a bjj event 😅
Damn I thought he broke that guys cervical the first match hopefully that guys neck isn’t wrecked bjj don’t play
He almost broke someone's neck doing an illegal takedown and you guys make a highlight out of it
They bias towards him winning that’s why they let him off

Very entertaining guy to watch! Unfazed by the leg locks even when some of them looked tight! 😮
Nicely done Achilles! Great kid! Great familly! Nice to see quality, character AND skill rewarded! God bless!
such a unique style, constantly flowing in and out of positions
The force and prisicion on how he attacks is next level .
Kid is a killer. Can't wait to watch his career
leg attack defense seminar should be his next move 😊

people hate to see others succeed
WNO or FPI, please make the rematch between him and Jay Rod
Como o apoio familiar faz toda diferença 👏👏👏
Flo finally letting us know the opponent wow
You would think he'd be susceptible to heel hooks
That first match was crazy
Not saying he's perfect but he's gradually improving from across all areas
I thought having a name like Achilles that he would be susceptible to heel hooks. Way to tarnish your name...
respect. his bracket with legit full of killers
He’s so amazing !
Bjj is a family thing.
monsterr
At 16:50 he gets heel hooked and you can hear his ankle pop
The kid is amazing
Future world champ for sure
amazing skills
maluco não tem ligamentos no joelho, o pai já estralou foi tudo 😅
how flexible are those legs!
Omg this slam was terrible, is this legal?
Minut 8:39 clak
First guy got fucked up
Savage
great performance but I would call dominating something else. The opponents did a great job
his ankle 3:34 is gross
Feel like I watched some random flograppling guy talk more than Achilles
Pans have always been Achilles's heel.
Take my thumb

should have gotten disqualified

First match a very bad behavior with opponent, too much dangerous, you have a great jujitsu don't lose with that takedown
not nice
