You definitely nailed it with the "drinks like a lager" comment. I've picked this one up a few times during Oktoberfest season and was really impressed.
I've not had this one or any Hofbrau beers as far as I can remember, but this definitely gets me hyped for hefe season, which I consider to be the warmer shoulder times before and after hotter summer truly sets in.
Those Warner shoulder times are the perfect time for Hefes. Especially this style of hefe that’s a little bit lighter in body. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried this or not, but some Hefes make for great beers at the peak of summer too. One like the Weihenstephaner for example - cut some fresh orange slices and throw them into a pint. Ultimate summer beverage.

I picked up a bottle of this and their oktoberfest beer yesterday. I already know I'll enjoy them! 😂 🍻

I think it's a great one, although I am not particularly thrilled with wheat beers.
