What might of actually happened is that the bomb missed but hit the ground under the helicopter, and then the splash damage knocked out the tail control.

They need to make these act like bombs instead of agms. It's literally a bomb with a rocket attached to it so it shouldn't just self destroy every time it loses lock

That was a bug that's fixed now, Hunter made a video on it earlier.
Also, all AGM's are essentially bombs with a rocket and some steering/stabilizing fins attached to it.
@@radiofreemongoliaofficialflight models and guidance for everything are very not good planes, bombs, missiles both sam air and atgm all are at least somewhat weird and have at least on thing modeled totally wrong

It might have been worth it to follow your bombs in at 12:43 to drop dumb bombs, maybe loiter a little bit till the pgms get closer, then push the SAMs, as then they have to choose between you or the PGM.
Also the engines in the Brit tanks sound awesome!

Finally after far too long, the tornado is finally doing what it should be doing, it’s finally got it’s advanced weaponry that the platform was built around, it was built as a super fast, low level strike aircraft that would fly super low, drop retard bombs or guided bombs and fly off, or employ these long range almost cruise missiles to precisely strike targets such as Sam sites where you don’t really wanna fly straight over them to guide a guided bomb

Probably because most proxy shells don't have tracers, whereas the missile has a visible contrail at the start. Makes for one hell of a jumpscare when your plane just rapidly disassembles itself in midair, lol.

I dont know man... I can either keep using my GR7 with Mavericks or suffer while stock grinding Tornado. I dont think PGMs are worth it when you have the Harrrier.
Nah with the harrier you can snipe tanks with mavericks, just climb to 3km, fire them once you are above 600km/h then they are dead, but PGMs are fun af😂

Do you have a problem with the render distance of ground vehicles? I can only fire PGM's within 10km and by that point im far too close to AA
I think the max number I got is 17km render distance. I play on the highest levels of graphic settings.

What’s your thoughts on the PGM? And how does it compare to other guided munitions in game?
The problems for me of the PGM are the fact that they are considerated missiles by the game so AA like Pantsir can take It Down easily plus the bomb Is very slow so It even more simple for Pantsir to destroy it
@@regioammiraglio7500 bombs can be shot down by anti air as well, it's not like the bombs aren't given a hitbox while missiles are.
@@friendlysnoworb6091 Yeah but the main difference here is that missiles are vulnerable to proximity fuse (explosions) whereas bombs are only vulnerable to direct hits, making missiles a whole lot more easy to intercept by SPAA than bombs are. Some SPAA don't have anything but proxy fuse munitions, so they are just out of luck as well. Not to mention the insane smoke trails missiles leave behind making them easy to spot.
@@Wotplaya4missiles don’t leave behind smoke trails, the rocket motors inside the missiles does, and pgm bombs have rockets attached to them
@@Wotplaya4I think it comes down to gaijin being lazy as logically when a guided bomb gets hit by proxy fuse shell you would think the explosion would damage the delicate guidance systems and servo mechanisms, maybe even disrupt the bomb’s aerodynamics, however none of those are currently modelled in game which resulted in the unrealistic mechanism of bombs are immune to proxy shells and missiles are vulnerable to them
the PGM seeker seems to be in colour, does that change how it performs at all or is it just a visual thing?
It's regular TV but operates like black and white AGM-65A/B. It cannot be used at night.
Hey Hunter, have you noticed a Bug that's fairly old including Guided Bombs? If you land them ontop of the tanks sometimes it only kills the mounted Gun ontop. Mostly with Russians and Ariete tanks I have this problem
He's mentioned it before, which is why he puts a 1 second fuse on bombs typically. Lets the bomb "clip" through

I love when people double down on my Arty.. certainly one Arty cant do a lot to anything whose Armor is thicker than paper, but once we had 5 players call Arty on the same Abrams capping a point who was immobilized from a bomb. Im sure my man was sweating profusely while he watched his city block be flattened.

MiG-27k is easier to play because it is more maneuverable and the most important is Pantsir S1 on your side.

And how in the exact fuck does an APFSDS round go through an entire tank without damaging anything yet still somehow take out the engine, which is behind the fighting compartment. It goes straight between two cunts and nicks the carousel yet nothing is damaged.

there are good teammates in this game, you just never have them on YOUR team. meanwhile the enemy team is basically seal clubbing.
