    Good news, Tour Sniper is now available in 1.30mm and M8 in 1.25mm.
    Also, and couple comments here roasting us for being sell outs now. I value transparency, so here it is:
    Obviously we have to try to make money through affiliate links to offset our production costs. I have no reason to hide this fact. For example, the Pure Aero video we made literally cost us 40 hours in labour and $1000 dollars not including camera and mics that we already owned.
    Grapplesnake has been our biggest supporter on the channel from TennCom’s start, but they never, ever ask us to make reviews, they never pay for the reviews, and they never ask to see the video before they are published. The people behind Grapplesnake value integrity and quality. Both Grapplesnake and TennCom are well aware that as soon as we start making completely paid reviews that our credibility is done for.
    Further, Grapplesnake supported my university tennis club when no one else would. I’ve had a positive relationship with them for years. I would only ever support a company that I believed offered a high quality product made and sold by people with integrity. The people at Grapplesnake care so much about tennis. They care about TennCom’s success too.
    If you want to support us, we would love if you bought some string, but watching our videos is more than enough. We have been absolutely thrilled with the positive response we’ve gotten over the past few weeks. If you still think we are bullshit, there are plenty of other tennis channels out there that run sponsor-free content. I recommend Mark Sansait.
    Best,
    Beckett

      I totally understand that RUclips is a business and anyone who does not approach it that way is engaging in wholehearted tomfoolery.
      However, it just seems unlikely that two players would choose the same string as their GOAT, considering that there are so many strings on the market. That would be like two sommeliers choosing the same wine as their all-time favorite.
      That being said, I still think you guys make fire content, even though you refuse to acknowledge that Gamma Jet is among the GOATS, along with my new favorite: Dunlop Black Widow 17. Yes, they have been around forever, but GOAT level is undeniable, no matter what the age.
      And since I know Beckett has been absolutely on the edge of his seat about which racquet I am playing with, I switched from the VCore 100 to the VCore PRO 100. TennComm is the first to hear about this breaking news, by the way.
      No matter what the haters say, just keep making great content. The great ones (like Jet and Black Widow) are often under appreciated, misunderstood, and polarizing.

    • @TennCom
      @TennCom  2 года назад +1

      You switched from the VCORE 100? What happened? This is a tragic development in for the VCORE 100 in general.

    • @naokisonoda-hq

      @@TennCom My arm and shoulder could not cozy up to the stiffness of the VCore 100. I know--it's not that stiff. The VCore Pro 100 was just what I wanted coming from the Blade 98 V7, which was a bit more forgiveness and power. It's a flexy, buttery stick.
      Keep up the good work, guys. You're good for the tennis community. And keep supporting the products you like despite the haters. As you ascend to the top of the tennis content universe, you will gain more haters--which are nothing more than fuzz on your strings.

      M8 is not like RPM at all. It’s way softer and there’s no coating so it plays better longer. RPM has silicone coating which wears off and then the string become harsh and dead. I would look at M8 or Alpha. Would avoid Neon Hybrid due to it being very annoying to string (I assume you string a lot of racquets). Tour Sniper is also excellent but it would give you much for free which can be helpful for coaching.

Extreme mp is a real upgrade with a more solid feel but still thick for my liking and felt slower to swing than previous extreme mp. Power and spin was down too like PA23 but now it has more substance. New extreme tour still lacks free power. I hope new strike to have lower SW like project one and finally connected feel to return and be less muted. I am disappointed on the current 98 inch offerings….. V8 for example become soooo low powered. Wilson keeps screwing blade after V6….. i am waiting a whiteout to test.

    I really want to try Tour Sniper & M8, since watching your videos and Tennisnerd, i got tempted to try. But unfortunately nobody sell it in Malaysia. Maybe i just need to be the only guy that sell it 😂. Maybe another 5 years. Lol.
    You guys are one of my favorite youtubers. I do agree with you regarding Firestorm, one of my favorite string also. Another favorite is Solinco Revolution, and i really curious about it playability compared to Tour Sniper & M8. Hope you can consider it! Haha

    • @TennCom

      I havent tried Revolution yet either. I have heard mostly good things but its relatively old and I feel like poly's have really progressed year over year since they came out 20 years ago. It scored oddly high in a lot of categories in the TWU string database so I'm actually quite interested in it

      @@TennCom Yeah, its been over 10years since it came out and i’ve been using it for quite sometimes. I really like it a lot, but currently it had cost my arm. Haha. Now i’m playing with multis for a while, once heal i will go back to Revolution and Firestorm. Yeah, TWU rate it quite high and i agree with them, it had control, power and spin. So please TC, please try Revolution later and then compare it Tour Sniper & M8. Looking forward to it!

      @mohamadrazin221 , have you found a stringer with grapplesnake? I have a list of 4 stringers in Klang Valley, and one of them is a distributor.

    I thought M8 couldn't possibly be as good as the reviews. It is. Strung in a DR98 at 45lbs and it's so solid and predictable. In contrast I tried their liquid neon hybrid and I wasn't taken as much at all. It's not grapplesnake, it's tour M8. Trying sniper next!
    Maybe you should try it before saying it isn't as good. It has almost universal glowing reviews, maybe it's just great?

    • @TennCom
      @TennCom  2 года назад

      Thanks for backing us up. I was pretty skeptical as well and really doubted the claims that I'd read online. I have absolutely no idea what about the poly-formula makes this string different, but I think it as unique as other weird strings like RPM Power or LXN Smart.

    • @TennCom
      @TennCom  Год назад +1

      RPM Power is pretty unique. I don’t think these anything like it. M8 feels much more “normal” whereas Rpm P has hybrid qualities with launch angle yet probably the best control in any string.

      M8. Imo no poly launches lower than RPM Power

      Since tour M8 comes in 1.25mm now, do you think the smaller gauge will be better in a Ezone DR98? Or would it be better to go for the 1.30mm?

      @TennCom  2 года назад +9

      Assuming you've read the pinned comment on how our relationship with Grapplesnake works, how do you think we should proceed then? I really value your opinion and want to grow the channel as much as possible. I think the only way to do this is to produce more videos at a higher quality. More videos and more quality requires more money. At this time, Google/RUclips Ad revenue is not even close to being enough to produce 1 racquet review per month. We are lucky enough that some viewers do donate via PayPal and Super Thanks, as well as the racquet consultation service I debuted on the last video, but its not enough to actually grow the channel. I am open to other solutions beyond sponsored content, but it really seems like the only thing that keeps RUclips channels alive.
