Playing at the Organ Stop Pizza for the very first time cold!

- This was my first time ever playing the great organ from the Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa, Arizona. Keep in mind that I sat down on this console cold having never practiced or set any registrations. Thank to Glenn Taller for allowing me to sit at this immense instrument and play. It was a dream come true!

You play this big theatre organ beautifully. I see that the organists take breaks from time to time. I am an amateur organist who plays church organs both pipe and digital by ear thanks to the kindness of several churches who let me practice on their organs during the week. During the break times, would the organists allow a visitor like me to play this beautiful organ for ten minutes at the most just so I can say I got to play it. I play by ear and have memorized many Gospel Songs both old and new. I see there is precedent for this as one of the regular organists has played Because He Lives. I could easily get in several one verse tunes in ten minutes. It appears from this video that you were given this opportunity to play. This would be a great opportunity for aspiring organists both young and old a chance to play such a great instrument and fill in the dead air between the regulars and help alleviate the shortage of good organists we are experiencing. I live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada by the way and sadly there are no theatre organs here to the best of my knowledge.
