レコーディングにはBUGのBa.TAKASHI、sads・黒夢のサポートを努めるDr.GOを始めとした豪華なゲストプレーヤー達を迎え、得意とするPOWER POPでフレッシュなギターサウンドの「フタリノホシ」「HEART」は勿論、 「Charon-カロン-」「ラバーズフィルム」は初のミドルバラードの"セツナ系"にも挑戦。 「Always」は神戸出身のJUNが今回の震災の直後から制作を開始。 「-for Japan-」は日本に向けて、「-for the world-」は世界に向けてのメッセージソングとなっており、英訳の歌詞にも挑戦した。

continues to evolve into something better and this new mini album is a significant part of the very
evolution. There is no doubt that the new album is filled with the new, best of spiv states that you've
ever experienced" are the confident words of promise by spiv states as they mark a new start by
returning to their origin of a 'guest-player-participation' band.
spiv states' 2nd Mini Album "Futari no Hoshi" will introduce a new genre of "V-POP" as this all-A-side
album bursts with V-POP that shows a new side of spiv states
With BUG's bassist TAKASHI and the support drummer GO of sads/kuroyume participating as guest
players in the recording of this new mini album, spiv states will have expressed their specialty genre
of POWER POP through fresh guitar sounds not only in 'Futari no Hoshi' and 'HEART,' but also in
medium-beat ballad numbers such as 'Charon' and 'Lovers' Film.' Being born and raised in Kobe
where he experienced the Kobe Earthquake in 1995, JUN started to compose 'Always' the day after
the Tohoku-Pacific Earthquake hit Japan on 3/11. 'Always' has 2 versions, '-for Japan-' in Japanese
and '-for the world-' in English, in hopes to send out his heartfelt message not only to Japan alone, but
also to the whole world as he truly wishes to communicate with his overseas fans and supporters.
【Profile】
CLOUD is a new label established by MAVERICK DC GROUP (the management company of super
talented bands such as L'Arc?en?Ciel, MUCC and SID) to discover and bring up new artists with
the concept of "From Japan to the whole world." CLOUD proudly presented spiv states as their very
first artist unit! The vocal/guitarist JUN composes music and writes lyrics for all of the songs. spiv
states' catchy pop melody expressed in a contrasting ROCK style has impressed not only the V-
ROCK fans, but also a wide range of music fans all over the world!
・2004~ participated as a guitarist in an Indies visual band "Phantasmagoria"
・2007~ started his solo activities as a vocal/guitarist
・5/2/2008 participated in hide's 10th "hide memorial summit' as Phantasmagoria
・2008/8 participated as a guitarist in "TOSHI with T-EARTH" ZEPP Tour by TOSHI from X JAPAN
・11/2009 started "spiv states" as a guest-player-participation band
・4/2010 spiv states contracted with CLOUD
・7/2011 pursues 'the true sound of spiv states' with the new mini album "Futari no Hoshi"
