"Theres no going back" - if thats not a very clyar message from Tarja to ALL of us fans, that there is no going back to the Nightwish days, i dont know vhat is. And we need to respekt it.

+basel zayat Songs are not weak, they are different from NW but not weak. We have I guess different taste in music. For me whatever she sings, she puts magic in it. She's better the last years, she's more alive in stages and I have seen her so many times to recognize the difference. NW are great then and now, but she doesn't need them anymore. She's far better.

Tarja is not only a great singer, but a great composer as well ! She has proved it !
I am convinced that we all need from each other to grow up, this is no exception, and those who say that she wasn't made by Nightwish, they live in a lie. Nightwish needed a voice for the band and she needed a band to be known, she used the band in the same way they used her, and she got to practice and learn. Proof is that she keeps performing Nightwish songs during her solo career, because in the end she knows, I am sure, that she will always be the "Ex-Vocalist of Nightwish"
Tarja is the queen of life. Her voice gives me shivers, it's so amazing. I can't wait to buy this album.
I remember when this video came out. Everyone was complaining about how low-cost it seems to be. I must say this is a true form of expression (the production, the visuals). So raw, I loved it!

This has got to be one of the best lyrical videos I have ever seen. Most lyric videos are just a power point presentation (and I do mean the official ones). This one can almost pass as an actual video.
I never listened to nightwish but I discovered Tarja from within temptations song "what about us" a great band that I love so much right now . But back to Tarja , she has such a u unique voice .

That's not a strong track though, sadly. I love within temptation and tarja both and I was excited about the colab but I was honestly disappointed. You should definitely check out nightwish too, they have something for everyone

I could not be the first one too tell this but this songs remember me her story with nightwish almost all the time its like her on story, "I gave All and you still wanna more" "There no going back" "there no room for me" i could listen this music for the first time but for me is like her after all this years is send a aswaers too the band she born and shine for such a good time, for me is like this was never enough for her, some guys say she lost her way on this music for me she opem her heart too sing this song, could be a total diferent way my perpective too her real intention with this music but is impossible for me could not compare this music with her on story with nightwish band.

Tarja is a special singer. Thats obvious. Shes the best of her "kind". But when you "see" music, there are too many things to talk about... She has some good tracks, and she really delivers on what shes doing live. But when i see Nightwish playing with Floor, its something different. Its another side of the thing. Tarja keeps us holding on to her. But Nightwish with Floor gives another atmosphere. Shes more sexy, more metal, more part of the whole... Tarjas is really one single star to shine. I dont know. Maybe im mistaken. But i think they both found their ways, and its for us. We can listen to both fantastic singers anytime.

Y'know, I like Tarja's solo material as much as I'm liking Floor Jansen's material with Revamp. It's unique, reflects the flavor of their styles and provides enough variety that I can enjoy their music as long as they keep producing it. Oh, and I like Nightwish, too. Just sayin'.

Darkazarak a true Nightwish fan would want the whole group in their original and unspoilt form. Nightwish without Tarja is like The Beatles with no Paul McCartney or like a dragon without its fire! Tarja did not deserve to be thrown out and certainly not in such a bad manner either!

I was thinking did the music quality go bad, but when it's intentional, it's quite fitting end to the song's lyrics and theme.
The end is the best part. Perfectly symbolising the overwhelming feelings, the physical or emotional exhaustion. Wonder what you think nowadays.
there isn't a large enough fan base in the US to make a tour there worthwhile for Tarja.

chopantura I disagree. I say My Winter Storm was her best album. Sure it was experimental and a little clumsy in its execution but it combined heavy metal, an orchestra, imaginative lyrics and followed a more classical approach.
This sounds like something more suited to a band like the Cardigans.

This is probably one of the best videos that Tarja has done so far. I like the heavy guitars, and all the noise, I'm not totally into the song yet, though. It stills needs to grow in me. Unlike "Into the sun", a very melodic tune. Waiting for the album!

When you say differently I agree in the sense that Tarja has trained for years to have the clear smooth opera voice, and Annette is different in the sense she has a generic, not unique rock voice that I've heard many times. Tarja has been called the queen of her genre because she has mastered opera before merging it with metal. I read in an interview Tarja's peers in music school would bully her, because they were jealous that Tarja has such a great voice and knack for opera.

Oh wow. I have no words for this! Each time it's impossible to love her even more and then she pulls this! I'm blown away by how amazingly unique her voice is every time. This is going to be an amazing album!
In life there are no coincidences, and you are giving me the reason, one helped the other in one way or the other. Tarja wanted to become part of the project, if the band and her changed with the years is something apart. But like I said Tarja and Nightwish learnt from each other even if they admit it or not, the fans should get that instead fighting every single time about who is best, which I think is a waste of time.
