  • A walk south down Yonge Street in the Yonge & Eglinton area to pick up some sim cards from the Rogers store. I had to use the in camera audio as my external audio recording... mysteriously disappeared. Also I lost the last clip lol
Recorded in 4K at 60 FPS on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Curious where everyone grocery shops? We where in Toronto last month didn’t see any grocery stores around.

There's a lot of grocery stores. In this midtown area there's 3 major ones within minutes of Yonge & Eglinton (Farm Boy, Metro and Loblaws).

Maybe someone from Toronto can answer this. I spent my early years in Portland Oregon, famous for raininess. There were no school buses, walk to school was necessary. As a result, I recall pretty much always having rainproof parkas. One, at least, was yellow with a hood, like fishermen had. I can't really think of a time when I saw a Torontonian in a rain parka. Is it that rain simply isn't a problem in Toronto?

I don't think it rains enough to justify people buying those.

@@JohnnyStumbles If you ever had a reason to check into Portland OR, one thing that was dependable was 6 or 7 months of rain. Actually even if they bus to schools, you'd need outerwear to wait for the bus. My parka is perfectly suitable for fall-spring wear on dry days.
