I like the professional respect between Vince and his co-worker. They can present opposing views and laugh at each other. A great presentation of character and genuine honest tool review for the audience. Great job guys.
Fantastic video you guys. I miss you guys testing tools out. I know it's a lot more work to do, but please test tools out like this as a regular video again. We all miss these.
Speed one is great for hinges, drawer handles, and cabinets.
Great video thank you Vince and the VCG gang 👍 one thing no one had on safety glasses though remember safety 1st especially with them diablo spade bits
Funniest tool testing for sure. "Remember if you aren't leading, you're following, and if you're following, you're a step behind." Self-help advice for the tool companies from Vince!
🤣 you know it cuz!
Ricky bobby would be proud
Thanks!
*_Thank you, we appreciate it!_*
I’m here for the good times, the tools are a nice bonus.
I use an 887 on a daily basis. Great impact, powerful, durable. I "lost" it the other day and bought an 840 on Amazon for $70. Found the 887 a couple days later... I'll keep the 840 as a backup. The 887 I have is a year old and still going strong. My last 887 lasted 2 years before I lost it on a job site.
My 887 just snaped in half waiting on the 845 from Amazon 135 I got it for. 887 is awsome currently am still using it the battery is just dangling by the cords tho.😂
@@123brendan100did it snap in half because you use it to help push yourself up off the ground like I do? Mine snapped get a new one but took the snapped at the battery base one used a healthy amount of job weld inside and all around it let it dry hit it with some sand cloth to smooth it out nice and other than it having a smooth gray handle it has held up really well works like day one definitely worth trying to fix ya can always use another impact at home or for your helper to lose.
@Koogz406 exactly why haha, I orderd a replacement handle off Amazon currently waiting on that and I'll put the old drill in the new case
@123brendan100 hey hey even better then my permanent weld it shut forever idea I like it.
@Koogz406 haha I was thinking of welding it shut but I wasn't sure how it would hols up with me using it to get up haha
After all these years, I was expecting the 845 to put more distance between itself and the 887. That being said, I still think the 840 is the best bang for the buck!
I have the 887 and use it every day. Im not seeing a reason to run out and get the new drill. I know the 845 is smoother and has brighter lights but i think im good with my 887. Maybe the next xr will be worth upgrading to but from all the testing im seeing the 887 will not be replaced yet
lol, yeah, I have that competitor with the collet issue. Fortunately for me it hasn’t been an issue. Great video, love the high energy.
Oh dang, that's a good thumbnail
I have TESTED BOTH of these Tools on my RUclips channel and with the 840 in the MIX they win Different TESTS
as a owner of an 887 i dont think i will be getting the 845 . but i use it around my house and in the garage for woodworking. im sure a construction guy may want the lighter tool for hours of use.
Ohio power tool has the 845 for 99 bucks! Lowe’s price matched as well
Bare tool that is, and sale price
Super cool brother, DeWalt for ever
Awesome as Always VCG👍👍👍 I've got one question though. Has anyone experienced collet issues with the new 845, 850 or 840? I've had issues with both my 850 and 840 when driving large 5/16 lags with Torx 40 bit heads. Oh and great to see the dynamic duo duking it out with determination to give the best dang results lol.
We haven’t but maybe some of the #VeryCoolGang can share their experiences!
What is the difference between dcd805b and the dcd709b
I still love my 887 mostly because I got it for 125.00 with a 5.0 battery. Although my first mistake was getting the atomic model which was a disappointment.
Did your atomic burn out first day too.... I got a atomic 1/4 and 1/2 impact both came faulty from factory and for the price its not cool.
Colt 45 Works every time!-Billy Dee Williams.
Hey vince always been curious where'd you get that sick Boar's Head sign
Have you done 845 vs 850 ? Interested to see how they differ/compare.
Got my 887 for free. Love it, but from this video wont be upgrading yet.
Thx for the comparison
as always great video . Maybe next time get someone who actually know how to hold a drill straight up and not destroy every screw he use .
Milwaukee needs to release a powestack already
Need to do a review for a holster for this thing. I’ve tried 3 different holsters and I can’t find one that doesn’t activate the trigger.
lock the trigger
I am sure ya know but they all do that and ya need to put your direction switch in the middle the only way unless ya take out the battery again in sure ya know this don't pull a new guy and leave your drill or impact spinning in your tool bag or box...fish fish fish
Splitting hairstyles my friend…. Can’t go wrong with either tool. Appears the difference is the battery technology. Still live your videos.
Slicked back
Пишу этот коммент по-русски , так как не могу писать по-американски🤪.
Винс ты молодец, продолжай в том же ключе!
I just picked up thr 845. I can put a screw through a piece of ply wood on the 1st setting. Is anyone else having that issue? Is mine defective? Setting 2 and 3 work great...
When's your next live tool video?
I love my 887

Great video new sub here 💪
So 887 is on the left? Unclear. Your graphic is backwards

He's like a blue collar DJ Khaled
You Da Best!
So I think I've found a niche for your channel. There are a few tool review channels that run "scientific" tests. They contribute a lot to our community. BUT, I know for a fact that some of their findings don't match the real world tests you guys used to do. Maybe you could do videos that illustrate such examples?
Let's see red vs yellow. Get out the Milwaukee gen 4
Vince drill vibrates hand way less!
REVIEW CAT right away
That’s nice
Real Nass like!

Where’s Nick?
If dewalt started making 45s it would be funny 🔫
🤣
Odd bizarre 🤔 few words to sum up dewalt
Vinnnnnnnnce dude please put a timer in front of you guys so you always start in sync 😂 and stop comparimg the 887 to other models it always makes me back up on changing my 887's. And really regret my 850 over 840 or 845. 🤣
Wonder if its gonna smoke show babyyyyy 💨💨💨💨💨💨💨🤣🤣🤣
clearly that new tool sucks compared to its predecessor lol
😑
Disapointing dewalt
