No matter how old it is or how many times i have seen it, it is still a masterpiece!
The deaf and blind bit is timeless.
raucous slapstick whirling round a poor innocent.
Legendary, just legendary 👏👏
Wonderful to see them all so young. Sadly now that Tim's gone John is the only one left. Lovely to see the remastered version too. Any more?
Clear depiction of entire world in one show.
There is a Monty Python version of this too, from the german Fliegender Zirkus.
Great stuff
The skit sort of fits better/naturally with this show, especially with Graham Chapman as the blind contact lenses specialist.
There's nothing wrong with Graham's portrayal of Mr Wearing or Tim's version of the man who wants to complain but Palin and Jones are irreplaceable for these roles in my opinion.
Was this show an inspiration for the Monty Pythons? Because the humour is sooo similar. And hilarious!
Is that Marty Feldman?
This is so reminiscent of Monty Python... What? I can't hear you, I lost my contact lenses!
So very funny hahahaha!☺☺
Until the Monty Python YT channel decides to upload an HD version, guess I'll have to do with this.
Didn’t realise it was originally a ‘1948’ sketch. Obvious no Palin as he was on ‘History’ and he is so much better for GC’s Chapman’s character in it.
😁😆❤️
why upload this when it's not actually on britbox?
I thought Monthy Python was a comedy show. I expected this to be funny.
