The fact that I found lots of male youtubers feel sorry for Howard in this episode says a lot about MEN in general. They often overlook their creepy behaviour, not to mention the sexual harassment, etc just because the man is funny and throwing lame jokes all time. Don’t get me wrong I love Howard as character especially watching his character growth, but he gets what he deserved in this episode.
The problem with Howard is not so much his choice of phrases, but the fact that he won't stop, even though it's always been pretty obvious that Penny wasn't interested. I have known a lot of guys like that. You can't be friends with them, because they're convinced that at some point you will change your mind, or that if you laughed at one of their jokes it MUST mean you wanna have sex. It becomes too much very fast...
Howard didn't have a proper parenting guide in his childhood, that'll creata a bit sympathy for his actions But anyway Bernadette completely changed him
I love your reactions, been following you guys since 2 years. In this particular episode though, Howard deserved that from Penny. It's not just about the "doable" thing, it's about how he gave Penny a doll with a Webcam in it, about how he tried to get a peek by operating those camera installed toy cars towards her legs, how he always comes up with some dirty line everytime she enters the room, how he stares at her every move (as depicted by some conversations the guys have), how he installed a camera and zoomed into her boobs when her and Leonard came back from their first date, etc. It's ALL of them piled up. :) But creepy stuff aside, in general, I love Howard though, I agree with what Dillion said about him being 1 of a kind. =)
Howard was just creepy and would not take no for an answer...sadly the reason many women have to take their rejection defense to the next level. Howard still only got half lesson he needed when he tried to kiss Penny because he thinks pity sex is a possibility. Seriously, some women are simply nice because they are nice, guys need to learn when to let it go.
you do understand this is a sitcom and the writers constantly do this with all characters. His character is written this way, you are taking this way to personally and it shows. All characters have flaws and redeeming qualities.

I agree with Dillon when it comes to men vs women being savage in terms of trying to emotional cripple someone. Most people know where the line is and what not to say, but some women will try to drive another person into a depression by picking on your biggest insecurities. It happens less when you get older though. Who is meaner towards women? Men or women?....it's women by a longshot. "don't bother trying to understand women. You know who understands women?..other women, and they hate each other."

Howard gave Penny a teddy bear with a hidden webcam in it. He gets what he gets.
If you flirt with someone and they reject you that's where you stop flirting. Howard doesn't stop. Penny had to do that.
Not to mention some of the things Howard considers “flirting” most people would consider “grounds for a lawsuit”
