If your getting hold of a set for a trial, it will interesting for real world test, does the battery actually provide 9 hours under heavy use and range test mounted under your coat (body loses) also mounted on top of your rucksack strap. What waveform does it employ? God bless.
Currently my recommendation is the Beartooth for two reasons. The current sale price of the Beartooth is around $1,250 for two radios. Two no license is required for the Beartooth radios. GoTenna did get back to me and the radios are around $1,200 per radio. Plus you need a part 90 FCC license to operate which are over $400. Final, I will test the Beartooth MK II radios in June and will post an update video.

I agree, I would like run them through some real world testing. They are using 4GFSK on VHF and UHF.
A few questions,
Do you prefer GOTENNA or BEARTOOTH?
Where you ever able to find out the price of the GOTENNA?

Never support a company that doesn't open up their devices when they end support for them...
Great point.
Shit. I bought 2 sets 3 years ago. haven't used them. Did they shit-can support for the civie devices?
