Brutal. Did you not look at the replacement brackets to discover there are 3-bolts before getting medieval? Hope you got the job done without totally destroying the flip-pac.
No I missed the 3rd bolt hidden by the inside brackets, but honesty the first one we removed didn't have 3 bolts and it took hours! This sped up the process and didn't destroy anything! We had seen someone else do this on line. Camper is 100% repaired and have used it 10 nights since repaired.
@@mtnbike28 I have the S-A-W replacement brackets and torsion bar. And even though the flip-pac I have is fine I wanted to have some spares. Hope I don't need to replace those brackets ever. Still, as an upgrade, do you think I should?
@@robmcpherson4093 I can't say, I know it sucks when it breaks on a trip. I would replace the bar. It was way easier than people make it out. I wonder if you don't have rust if the brackets would be easier, mine were VERY rusty.
