bonney actually helped me stall out a lucci deck because I kept his don rested and he was taken aback lol he thought it was only characters because thats all people did the week before. Everyone thinks 1 don isnt a big deal just like -1k power isnt a big deal in a skill but it can be super benificial if played right. Also, I got smashed by back to back Kaido in a boa deck returning an 8c and 3c. Absolutely killed my momentum. I changed my deck a little bit for this coming weekend with cards like 8c rosinante. I'll be testing all week to make sure I'm dialed in. I haven't beat a lucci with bonney yet and I absolutely want to.
I love bonney and that the bonney deck gets the love it deserves, even thou she gets overshadowd by the others. I also play her with the donquixotes engine cause last meta I ran with green uta and wanted a bit of difference out of the fortress style. so i run a pretty agressive donquixotes build and i wish i had more space than 2 for the zoro as well :') :') GG on your win ^^
Congrats! Personally have had a really hard time with the 8c Kid playstyle as I feel it burdens the deck with a lot of small blockers and warps the gameplay around it. Been enjoying Rosi instead for Black matchups and playing more agressively with good 5 drops 😊
I only played four games with mine and I found the Baby 5 Doffy searcher to be too clunky. I almost always had the cards I needed in hand but bottom decking one of my two Zoro felt awful.
If you take out the 8c kid you can also drop rosinante and Bart. Playing 5 mid/bad cards just because of kid I feel like is too high of a deck building cost even though kid is great, I don’t think he is needed. Those 8 slots help consistency a lot I feel like if you do +2 zoro so you always see it and +3 or 4 more pizza so you always have an early play and see your pieces. And then you can run more 5c Bonney or tech like 5c drake for flood decks or 5c restand law for surprise lethal/cavendish plays. Might be worth a try, although I can see Kid being so good it’s actually worth the deck building cost
Without kid your worst MUs get worse (lucci and rp law) drake just doesnt do it against rp law , it is just too slow. hody into 8c kid + barto is the only semi consistent way of playing into rp law
If you're playing Krieg you're most likely going to need More Pizza, because you need draw power, Krieg is insane if played well but it leaves you without hand often.

RP law is out of the question for me tbh. I don’t believe a deck with no search ability is the “best deck”. You’re heavily relying on the cards you draw/mull into and drawing a Reiju
Also wondering about this because he also says he’d drop a 8c Kid to have a minimum of 3 9c Zoro. So that would leave 1 Kid left if adding 2 more pizzas

8:15 btw barto does get the draw and discard when you activate kidd and bonney searcher, so it's not completely vanilla

I love this deck. I also found the baby 5 engine clunky in testing. Going supernova engine was just smoother especially in the mirror.

liked this deck list alot i felt the same with baby 5 felt clunky and that alot of my searches were wiffs or just 2ks

Agree with the Zoro, it won me a Bonney mirror. If you pair it with Cavendish it's crazy.

for the B lucci matchup hawkins is very good, stick 2 on board and the matchup is very winable. They just cant get rid of it
