Im not sure if my situation is considered Diplopia or not, but when I focus on something, I can see it double unless the object is moving. It happens with intention, and I can control it. Is that considered diplopia??

      Same with me

I don't think it counts because that has to do with how we're stretching some muscles in the eye (hence the control part)

monocular diplopia in BOTH eyes.... is bilateral monocular diplopia. Does not resolve when covering either eye.

Have monocular diplopia in right eye from ptosis induced astigmatism (in my opinion) and cataracts (to be removed shortly). Will the preliminary exam for the new implanted lenses be able to get the Rx correctly going thru the ptosis induced 'wrinkle' of the astigmatism? Or will that astigmatism go away after ptosis corrective eyelid surgery no longer has the eyelid drooping across the field of vision causing the wrinkle? And if the implanted lenses were compensating for the "temporary" astigmatism that fades away after the ptosis surgery, where does that leave me with wrong Rx for the lenses?
