    I have a 2018 TDX model and I’ve put it through a lot and have pushed it to its “Maxx” so far no complaints. I love my trailer but after using it everyday on a variety of types of jobs, what I need is the this exact trailer but with the sliding axles and a third lift axle. So, basically 40’ three axle slide X

    The great feature about the MAXX-D is it's length options. You can haul your lengthy essential livelihood plus auxiliary equipment and supplies in one trip. I'd like to see the hydraulic loader demonstrated. Fantastic flatbed.

    Love your products, keep innovating. You should list the states that would allow for a 10-15' container overhang in the back of that trailer that you can transport legally down the road. It's a dangerous thing to do because that swing down bumper isn't going to stop someone from decapatating themselves if they run into the back of a 10' or greater overhang. You might have to go with a 40' trailer (10' stationary) with a 30' tilt for greater safety when hauling the 40' containers. To bad there wasn't some sort of integrated rollers in the deck that could be hydraulically lifted / retracted for loading/unloading of containers to stop them from marring up the deck.

    • @Maxxdtrailersofficial
      @Maxxdtrailersofficial  Год назад +2

      Thanks for the input, the trailer pictured has a 40' deck. You'll have at most 2' of overhang.

    I would like to see a video of a container being loaded. Seems like a lot of friction. I have the MAXXD Rolloff set up.

    • @Maxxdtrailersofficial
      @Maxxdtrailersofficial  2 года назад +3

      The smooth steel runners on the sides help with the friction part. There are even guys that load these without the runners or even on non-tilt flatdecks.

    I like the commercial and the options. But why doesn’t any of you guys step out of the box? All these trailers are built the same across the board. There’s many of us that need a lower bed height. Not everyone is hauling containers. How about doing the same setup with single wheel axles (10k or 12k up to three), air suspension for a good ride and the ability to lift axles when not needed. Finally, some good drive over fenders with good support. Now, that would be a trailer that would be sold to the masses.

    • @Maxxdtrailersofficial
      @Maxxdtrailersofficial  2 года назад +2

      Hey Mike, this is some good input, and we need to hear from people like you that are out there using these types of products. We do have a lower profile single-wheel tilt flatbed, the TSX, but you can only get it with a 17.5k max GVWR. Are you looking for more of a two-car trailer?

    • @mikemiller9119
      @mikemiller9119 2 года назад +1

      @@Maxxdtrailersofficial I haul many high profile trucks and RVs. A trailer with a 36’ deck would be great. Would be awesome to have a full deck tilt like this one you’re advertising. But some tilt beds have their axles too far forward. That makes the trailer unstable for vehicles that have weight in the rear. Send me an email address and I’ll send you pictures of what I do and what would be great to fit the build.

    Have you guys ever installed either retractable or flip up container twist locks on the front of the trailer? When ya winch the container all the way up, its nice to have a couple twist locks to secure it to the trailer, in addition to the normal chains. I have a 40ft DeLucio multimodal trailer behind my t800, i go into the ports sometimes but usually use it for flatbed work. Its got container twist locks front and rear

    Is it possible/legal to run the deck tiltes and utilize the deck on the neck and run it like a wedge? Because I'm at the point where I'm needing a wedge and a flatbed and that'd be the best thing ever if that trailer would do both

    • @Maxxdtrailersofficial
      @Maxxdtrailersofficial  2 года назад +2

      You can use the deck on the neck to haul stuff, but you wouldn't be able to keep the trailer tilted while driving down the road for safety reasons. Would be cool if you could, though.

    How do you unload it?

    • @Maxxdtrailersofficial
      @Maxxdtrailersofficial  3 года назад +5

      The container hangs off the back a bit which allows you to tilt it and let it slide off as you drive.

    • @RaikouTransport
      @RaikouTransport 9 месяцев назад

      How do you unload without scraping a customers driveway if it doesn’t have the piston in the back to fold the support leg in the rear. That should come standard and not as an extra option. Ordered a trailer for containers not realizing that’s not a standard option. Now I’m stuck with a 30k trailer that can’t properly unload containers on it own.
