Went to some local shope to get my 6s plus screen replacement. Everything worked. But thise buffons screwed my home button and fingerprint. I know you might be in China snd i would like to book a flight their to get my home button fixed !
i can fix it for you free of charge,, hate repairshops that give us tech's a bad name. If a repairshop screw something up they should repair it or buy you one in same condition.
This is some open heart surgery right there. Surely the cost of someone experienced enough to do this would cost more than my iPhone 7 is now worth. 😭 A super video, 👌

Hello. I've got an iPhone 7 where its Touch ID function does not work. I've replaced the battery and did not even touch the home button. When I was disassembling the device, I did pry up the screen from the left side of the phone. It's not saying "unable to activate..", but it doesn't work anyway. Double-Tap to open one handed mode works as well. The home button works too. What could be causing it?

You can get home buttons that restore home button function without touch ID. I recommend you take it to a local repair shop and see if they have any, you normally need a whole sale business account to buy them

If you put a authentic or oem on Touch ID button on any iPhone that has a Touch ID it won’t work because it needs the exact numbers of the Touch ID to the phone. So Touch ID won’t work but home button will.

Ricardo Rodríguez Mostly people trying to repair their devices and not being careful with the flex cable. I have a technique I use to remove these buttons inside 5 seconds without heat, and without damaging the button at all.

I live in Canada. I wonder if there’s anybody who could do this for me. I am totally blind and wouldn’t even think of trying this because I can’t actually see what’s being done. I have an iPhone SE original. Apple replaced the battery a few months ago. I wonder if they damaged it? Hope I am actually covered for that. I love that there are so many people providing do it yourself solutions for Apple devices. But, because I’m blind, these are not accessible to me so I need to find somebody who would do this at a reasonable price.
This video is stupid blaming the technician for the phone button not working , the mother board is paired with the home button period. In that case what would be the point of this video , why not buy another home button instead of going through the trouble of all this to fix the same home button.

Is there any device you have which can remove icloud easily? Replacing cpu and emmc is so difficult and risky.

Well, that won't work with iPhones since they're paired from Apple.
You could buy a universal one. You just need to have a good Bluetooth connection and Touch ID isn’t available
Cynixx I'm aware that exists, but this is the definitive way of fixing those pesky buttons for now to restore complete functionality.
