বাঙালির কাছে বকখালি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্রগুলির মধ্যে একটি। কলকাতা থেকে বকখালির দুরত্ব মাত্র ১২৫ কিলোমিটার হওয়ায় বকখালি যেতে সময় এবং খরচ দুটোই অনেক কম হয়। তাই বলা যায় সবথেকে কম খরচে ছুটির দিনে সময় কাটানোর জন্য বকখালী পশ্চিমবঙ্গের অন্যতম একটি জায়গা।
এখানে গেলে বকখালি সমুদ্র সৈকত সহ পার্শ্ববর্তী ভ্রমণ কেন্দ্রগুলির নিড়িবিলি ও সুন্দর নয়নাভিরাম দৃশ্য আপনার মন ভরিয়ে দেবে। বকখালিতে বাসস্ট্যান্ডএর পাশে রয়েছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের একমাত্র কুমীর প্রজনণ কেন্দ্র। এছাড়া এখানে গেলে দেখতে পাবেন হেনরী আইল্যান্ড, ফ্রেজারগঞ্জ মৎস্য বন্দর, জম্বুদ্বীপ, ফ্রেজারগঞ্জ সমুদ্র সৈকত এবং চারিদিকে ছড়িয়ে থাকা ম্যানগ্রোভ বন।

Bakkhali is one of the popular tourist destinations near Bengal. As the distance from Kolkata to Bakkhali is only 125 km, the time and cost of traveling to Bakkhali are both very low. Therefore, it is said that Bakkhali is one of the best places in West Bengal to spend the holidays at the lowest cost.
When you get here, the beautiful scenic views of the surrounding tourist attractions along the Bakkhali beach will fill your mind. The only crocodile breeding center in West Bengal is next to the bus stand in Bakkhali. Apart from this, you will also find Henry’s Island, Fraserganj fishery port, Jambudwip, Fraserganj beach and mangrove forests scattered around.
