  • Our ecosystems contribute to about 50% of the world’s GDP, but we seem to be doing so little to actually protect them from human interference.
    One way we can protect our ecosystems is by creating designated protected areas to allow biodiversity to flourish, which could actually benefit us in the long run!

      @@Focusprofile Wooden furniture and houses has CO2 in it. and can stay there for several decades. cutting down trees and making room for new, you could probely have 2 or even 3 tree rotations before the CO2 in the furniture is released.
      if you let the trees do there own work, the CO2 is realesed as the tree starts to rot.
