I just made this. I added sugar a couple of times extra, and boiled for an hour , when I dropped on the filled plate and it cooked a finger swipe left an open line. It’s 24 hours and not fully set. What should I do?????

should have set if it left an open line. wait another day or so. i've had jellies that took a couple of days

I rebooked and added water sugar lemon juice and pectin. I’m doing another 30 lbs this weekend and will do smaller batches and try again. Thank you. I really want this to work.

it should set, considering it is made with apples, which is high in pectin. hope it works. have a great weekend
