Fantastic. Loving the genius use of 'Puffy Paint' to add texture and detail to the brim and the quick cheat for 'fake' stitching. Also the simple, but brilliant gradient paint work. Like miniature paint tricks but on a bigger scale. Very, very effective. From this vidoe I've learnt... there are no rules... just what works. Thanks Jessica this one was brilliantly useful.

If you're ever in Humboldt CAS, we have the Medieval Festival of Courage. It's a super fun, one day event with jousting, horse archery contests, axe throwing and lots of other awesome activities.

I highly recommend the Maryland Ren Faire! Its heavily shaded by trees and has beautiful built in storefronts. It goes from late August- Oct 20ish. Downtown Annapolis is close by so theres fun stuff to do in the area.

We always take a huge group and dress up to the Ohio Renaissance Festival in October, super fun.
The cosplay is simply PERFECT!!! ❤👸🏼🌹🌟
every first 2 weekends of June, here at Anchorage Alaska, we have a renaissance fair called The 3 Baron's Renaissance fair. The Largest renaissance fair in Alaska. The 3 barons are Red, Green, and blue. The red barons are the heroes of the stories and dress like the roman/Italian renaissance. The Green Baron's are the villains of the stories and dress like the old english/old british renaissance. The Blue Baron's are the fun/meme group and dress like the Arabian stories(I believe you would fit in with them and become the knight with them in no time). I'm part of the jailers called Keepers of the Gaol. we jail everyone who pays a small fee and they have to entertain everyone to get out. i hope you can come here and enjoy everything this fair has to offer.

It's always interesting to see the process behind how things are made, plus brief glimpses of your face without all that heavy-duty makeup. Also there needs to be about 250% more Ryan in the videos just doing Ryan stuff. Ryaning all over the place on his most Ryan days.

Texas renaissance is a blast, but I would suggest camping that is 70% why I go. Sherwood in Texas is also amazing, much more low key, still should camp! I attend a faire 6 months out of the year camping at them!

You should check out the Georgia Ren Fair (that's the one I grew up with) and also the Carolina Ren Fair in North Carolina (that's my current Ren Fair having moved to N.C.)
Both really fun, they do tend to have the same performers booked as they are both in the southeast, so they kind of draw from the same talent pool, but it's still fun. The GA Ren Fair is in the spring, and the NC one is in the fall, so relatively easy to make both in one year! ...if you live down this way, that is 😁
I really enjoy the Halloween weekend at the NC Ren Fair. The weather is great, the costumes are plentiful and kids get in free that weekend so it doesn't cost any extra to take my son!

You’re hilarious as always 😂. In another lifetime I worked at the Renaissance Fair in Tuxedo Park, NY. If you’re not working the fairs then you should look into it. 2 or 3 days of work on the weekend and a week of boggin’ it up in the woods for a month. 🧙♀️ It’s both worse and better than you’d think.

Well, they're 2 of my favorite wolves... both evoke a sense of awe and fascination, just for completely different reasons. 1 stimulates the frontal cortex and the other make lizard brain go brrrt.

Im in Vegas and our fair is pretty cool, but only one weekend so can be crowded and tricky.
I also vend at Two Rivers in Yuma Arizona, its small but one of my favorites cause everyone is sweet and amazing. And its in February so its nice and chilly.
