I take issue with calling Dan Campbell’s statement to Kevin O’Connell being “bravado.” I think it is Dan being a human being and consoling a coach who just lost the opportunity to be the number one seed in the NFL. The Lions were already going to be in two weeks. They had the biweek. He was just trying to give some encouragement to a coach who just lost.
We were never losing during that game, yeah the scoreboard had us “losing” in the first half, but we controlled that game and I never felt we were losing at any time
Look, loving JD, but let's be real. The story-line here is that Detroit had 18 defensive players on IR, including 8 key starters. JD is a generational talent, but I don't think it would have been a win if he was playing the healthy Detroit defense. To illustrate, that catch by the fullback was against Detroit's 6th string, rookie CB, Morris #40 who had only played in 1 game during the regular season. It's on Detroit for running the defense ragged, but let's be fair with the narrative.
Maybe this will teach the national media, who were crowning the Lions in the Super Bowl before the season even started, that they don't know everything.
I know less players on the commanders than probably any team in the entire league. Outside of Jayden they are probably the least interesting team in the NFL (my opinion only). They were probably the only team in the NFL that I didn't watch a single one of their games. So it doesn't surprise me to hear a commentator call their TE a FB.
So people are impressed that Jayden Daniels play well against a defense that can’t stop a pop warner team? Please. Washington can’t stop the run. Unfortunately, Ben Johnson didn’t think it was exciting enough to just hand the ball off to Gibbs all day. Eagles aren’t making that mistake vis-à-vis Saquon Barkley. This will be a blowout.

Bates is TE not a FB
The take away is stop letting coordinators interview before the season is over.
The takeaway is Washington are a bunch of heart breakers and dream killers. They've been doing it all season and will do it again in the Championship.
They will lose by double digits. Defense will not get 5 turnovers again. Philly will put up 300 plus rushing yards.
Jayden is this year's Jordan Love 🤣
A fullback with 87 number crazy
He is a TE who often lines up as a FB
just a fb on that play but numbers are no longer locked to positions so no its not crazy actually
I think the Bills still have something to say about the final two.
Blocking TE but yeah was lined up at full back thank you John Bates 87
