  • Jesus often spoke in parables, presenting earthly stories with heavenly meanings to all who would listen. However, the religious leaders would challenge Jesus, waiting for Him to make a mistake. Instead, the truths He proclaimed would stumble them. As we look at His responses to the religious leaders, we learn about stewardship and the greatest commandment.
This teaching is from our series Matthew - 2011 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

I really like Skips teachings In 1-1-24 I have been studying this Mark 12 and the I am the God of the living not the dead Abraham Issac and Jacob we know these men all died and are dead and buried but they are alive ? Soul? spirit? what is alive and where are they ? When Jesus told the thief on the cross today you will be with me in paradise ( Greek =garden) do believers/saved 57:26 go back to the garden and dwell until Jesus makes his return ? The thief died that day how is he in paradise with Jesus Christ?

The Pharisees desire the best seats in the synagogue; the Baptist Pharisees desire the seats in the back of the synagogue.
